Abstract: PURPOSE: A top mount of an air suspension is provided to reduce the bending of a shock absorber while maintaining the vertical characteristic of the shock absorber by forming voids and inserts in proper positions in an elastic material. CONSTITUTION: A top mount of an air suspension comprises an external member(30), an internal member(32), and an elastic material(34). The external member is connected to a vehicle body. The internal member is located inside the external member and connected to the rod side of a shock absorber. The elastic material is interposed and elastically deformed between the external and internal members. Voids(40,42) are formed on both sides of the outer periphery of the elastic material and inserts are formed inside the elastic material without voids.

따라서, 자동차의 토우를 조절하는 링크(10)(11)들의 단면 증대나 재질 변경 없이 굽힘 하중에 의한 응력집중현상을 응력완충부로 해소하게 됨으로써, 부품원가나 중량의 증대 없이 토우조절장치의 내구성 및 강성을 향상시킬 수 있게 되는 등의 매우 유용한 발명인 것이다.-

Abstract: A coupled torsion beam axle for vehicles is provided to increase roll rigidity according to torsion in order to improve the structural rigidity of the coupled torsion beam axle as well as ride comfort. A coupled torsion beam axle for vehicles comprises: a first and second coupled torsion beam axle(110,120) divided based on a length direction of the coupled torsion beam axle installed in a rear suspension of a vehicle; and a rigidity adjusting device(200) installed between the first and second coupled torsion beam axles in order to increase roll rigidity while maintaining lateral rigidity. The rigidity adjusting device consists of: a first and second outer pipe(210,220) wherein the end parts of the first and second coupled torsion beam axles are pressed; and a vibration isolation board(230) interposed between the first and second outer pipes to reduce torsion. The outer pipe is fastened to the vibration isolation board by a connection part. One side of the connection part is connected to the end part of the first coupled torsion beam axle and the other side is combined with the end part of the second coupled torsion beam axle.
