    Abstract: PURPOSE: A chain guide for a vehicle engine is provided to improve a continued ratio and reduce boundary frictional forces by forming an oil groove and increasing a thickness of an oil film. CONSTITUTION: A chain guide for a vehicle engine is contacted with a chain which connects a cam sprocket to a crank sprocket. A contacting part contacted with a back side of the chain is formed into a longitudinal direction. A cross section of the contacting part is a swollen curve. A plurality of the contacting parts is formed at fixed intervals. On both sides of contacting part, oil grooves for increasing a thickness of a lubricant layer are formed parallel to the chain. On one end of the contacting part, a reentrant groove shape of a oil bowl(148) is formed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A chain tensioner arm is provided to prevent abrasion of related parts by forming an oil film by using oil discharged from a chain tensioner and to improve fuel efficiency by reducing friction loss. CONSTITUTION: An oil groove is formed to a longitudinal direction of a contact surface(310) and a timing chain(100). An oil supply hole(312) is formed in the oil groove. The oil supply hole is connected to an oil vent hole of a chain tensioner(200). Oil is discharged from the chain tensioner according to tension control and is used for lubrication of the timing chain. One side of a chain tensioner arm is supported by a car body to be possible to rotate. The other side of the chain tensioner arm is elastically supported by the chain tensioner. A guide is projected from the chain tensioner arm by limiting lateral direction separation of the timing chain.

CONSTITUTION: A crank sprocket(3) transfers torque of a crank shaft to a cam shaft. A timing chain(7) interconnects the crank sprocket and a cam sprocket. The cam sprocket is mounted to the cam shaft. A tensioner arm(9) and a chain guider are respectively formed on both sides of the timing chain in order to reducing vibration of the riming chain and prevent secession of the riming chain. The tensioner arm controls tension of the timing chain by being arranged at the left side of the timing chain. The chain guider guides the timing chain by being arranged at the right side of the timing chain.
