Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for judging danger of doze off at the wheel is provided to improve reliability of judgment about doze danger driving. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for judging danger of doze off at the wheel includes a sensor, a judging part(20) of doze off at the wheel, and an alarming part(30). The sensor detects an opening time and a closing time of eyes of a driver. The judging part calculates the degree of danger from the opening time and the closing time of eyes detected by the sensor, and compares the degree of danger with a predetermined critical value. In case the degree of danger exceeds the critical value, the alarming part alarms the driver.
