CONSTITUTION: A water pump(100) for a vehicle comprises a pulley(130), a brake pad(210), a clutch disc(220), a hub(230), a return spring(240), a field coil(260) and a main shaft(270). The pulley comprises a through hole and a clutch chamber. The clutch chamber is formed on the rear along the circumferential surface of the through hole. The clutch disc is arranged in the clutch chamber of the pulley to face the brake pad. A plurality of plates(225,226,227) of the clutch disc are overlapped and fixed. The hub is coupled to the through hole of the pulley through a pulley bearing(133). The hub is connected to the clutch disc through a plurality of spring pins(231). The return spring applies resilient force to the clutch disc.
