Abstract:
The present invention encompasses compounds A and B, mixtures of A and B and acid addition salts thereof wherein R is hydrogen or loweralkyl having 1-3 carbon atoms, and the phenol ring is labeled with 125I or 131I. The radiolabeled compounds are useful in radiochemical assaying for folic acid.
Abstract:
A chemiluminescent signal amplification method in which the desired reaction signal is amplified by use of a probe reagent which contains an enhancer compound such as a hapten and by the use of a conjugate which contains a chemiluminescent signal generating compound. Kits for performing such an amplified chemiluminescent assay are also provided.
Abstract:
Abstract:
This invention relates to the synthesis and use of novel alpha hydroxy tripeptide substrates which are useful in the quantitative determination of proteolytic enzymes such as thrombin and trypsin. In use, the disclosed substrates are hydrolyzed by a proteolytic enzyme to yield a moiety that can be evaluated spectrophotometrically to indicate the quantity of enzyme present.
