Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition of a PARP inhibitor shown to potentiate radiotherapy and chemotherapy by increasing apoptosis of cancer cells, limiting tumor growth, decreasing metastasis, and prolonging the survival of tumor-bearing animals.SOLUTION: The invention describes benzimidazole derivatives which constitute potent PARP inhibitors which is 2-[(2R)-2-methylpyrrolidin-2-yl]-1H-benzimidazole-4-carboxamide, or a therapeutically acceptable salt thereof used in combination with radiotherapy, or in combination with other chemotherapeutic agents.
Abstract:
Compounds which inhibit the activity of poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase (PARP), compositions containing the compounds and methods of treating diseases using them are disclosed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to 1H-benzimidazole-4-carboxamides of formula (I), their preparation, and their use as inhibitors of the enzyme poly(ADP-ribose)polymerase for the preparation of drugs.
Abstract:
Thieno[3,2-d]pyrimidiii-4-one derivatives as inhibitors of Pim kinases, ways to make them and methods of treating patients using them are disclosed.
