Abstract: Any reduction of the boiling point of brake fluids for hydraulic brake systems is eliminated by bringing its water content into contact with a molecular sieve. The molecular sieves are pref. arranged as exchangeable cartridges in a brake fluid reservoir of the system. Arrangement eliminates possible brake failures if too low a boiling point and a high brake loading produce steam bubbles. No water-attracting additives are required.
