    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a recording material capable of developing with a developing solution having various pH value by incorporating methacryl anilide or acryl anilide in a polymer binder by polymerization. CONSTITUTION: As the polymer binder, at least one kind of a polymer binder and if necessary other assistants and additives are incorporated. Methacryl anilide or acryl anilide is incorporated in the polymer binder by polymerization, And the development by a water based solution is possible by incorporating 1-60wt.% (metha)acryl anilide per total quantity of the polymer binder or carboxyl group. As a result, the development in the wide pH range is possible and then various kinds of the developers are enabled to he used without adversely affecting on regeneration quality and the hydrophilicity of non-pressed part of a printing plate body.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To eliminate dependency on a variation of an aq. developing soln. and a pH change by forming a specified photosensitive negative processable recording layer developable with water or an aq. alkali soln. CONSTITUTION: This plate has a photosensitive recording layer contg. a (meth) acrylic acid-(meth)acrylate copolymer contg. 4-[(meth) acrylamidomethyl]pyrazole and/ or 4-[(meth)acrylamidomethyl]isooxazole represented by formula I as a polymer binder. In the formula, R is H or methyl, R is H, methyl or ethyl, each of R and R is 1-6C alkyl or 6-20C aryl, X is O or NR and R is H. Printing characteristics almost independent of a variation of an aq. developing soln. and a pH change are ensured.
