Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of recording magnetic signals on magnetic recording media containing an exchange-anisoptropic material at a temperature lower than, equal to or higher than the Neel temperature of this magnetic material. After the recording has been made, the magnetic recording medium is heated to a temperature equal to, or higher than, the Neel temperature, then cooled down to a temperature below the Neel temperature and the recording temperature, following which it is provided with an indicator which betrays re-heating. The method is suitable for the space-saving and, at the same time, authentic recording and storage of all data and images which are to be preserved without risk of falsification.
Abstract:
A transparent window member for a tape cassette, which together with a reel pressure spring, forms a subassembly of the cassette. The reel pressure spring has a U-shaped central portion, the bight of the U being parallel to the plane of the spring arms, and the reel pressure spring having a longitudinal edge with two transverse slits spaced the same as the legs of the U of the central portion of the pressure spring. The central portion may thus be transversely inserted in the longitudinal edge of the window member and it thus forms a locating element for the pressure spring.

1420692 Magnetic recording tape BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK AG 27 April 1973 [28 April 1972] 20074/73 Heading B2E A thermostable rigid base plated with a firmly adhering film of ferromagnetic metallic material containing cobalt has applied thereto a layer from a solution of at least one film-forming organic coating resin in a volatile solvent, the layer in dried and unbaked condition being not more than 3000A thick, and drying and baking being effected at 200-300C for 1-15 hours. Specified resins are polycarbonates, polyurethanes, acrylic polymers, polyglycidal ethers and esters cured with polyamines and polyaminoamides and phenol-amine resins. The ferromagnetic metal may be Co-P, Co-B, Co- Ni, Co-Fe-Ni alloys. Ketones, ethers and hydrocarbons are typical volatile solvents.
