Abstract:
Process for the manufacture of liquid crease-resistant finishing agents for cellulosic textile materials, the agents being based on urea and formaldehyde, from which they are obtained by condensation in two steps at specific pH values and in specific molar ratios. The agents have a long shelf life.
Abstract:
Cellulosic textiles are rendered crease resistant with an impregnant formed by reaction of urea and formaldehyde at first in an acid medium and then with the addition of further urea and also glyoxal in a substantially neutral medium.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a specific dicarboxylic acid diureide as a slow-acting fertilizer for nitrogenous fertilizers through combination with other commonly used fertilizers or additives so as to effect delayed release of a plurality of nutrients contained for crops and sustain the tolerance of crops to the fertilizers and the action of such fertilizers. SOLUTION: A dicarboxylic acid diureide shown by the formula [R is H or SO2OM+; M+ is Li, Na, K, CS, NH4, Cu, Ag, 0.5 Fe, 0.5Ca, 0.5Mg, 0.5Mn, 0.5Zn or 0.5Co; X is a straight-chain or branched 1-8C alkyl having one saturated or unsaturated group (pref. (CH2)n, n is 1-4) and, optionally, discontinued by O or NH, or having a 1-4C alkoxyhydroxy and/or amino group(s)] is uses as a slow-acting fertilizer. This compound of the formula is obtained, for example, by reacting the corresponding carboxylic acid diamide with chlorosulfonyl isocyanate at -20 to 20 deg.C followed by reaction with an aqueous solution of M2CO3 at -10 to 0 deg.C.
Abstract:
The use of inorganic or organic poly acids is claimed for treating mineral fertilisers containing a nitrification inhibitor. The use of compounds of formula (I) is claimed as nitrification inhibitors. R1 = H, halo or 1-4C alkyl; R2 = 1-4C alkyl; R3 = H or CH2OH, and when R3 = H, the compound may be converted to a phosphoric acid salt. A mineral fertiliser containing a poly acid and optionally (I) is also claimed. 3,4-dimethylpyrazole (Ia), 4-chloro-3-methyl-pyrazole (Ib), N-hydroxymethyl-3,4-dimethylpyrazole (Ic), N-hydroxymethyl-4-chloro-3 -methylpyrazole (Id), acid addition salts of (Ic) and (Id), and mixtures of two or more of (Ia)-(d) are new. -
Abstract:
The use of inorganic or organic polyacids to treat mineral fertilizers, in particular the use of polyacids as a mixture with at least one nitrification inhibitor to treat mineral fertilizers. The invention also concerns the use of selected pyrazol e derivatives as inhibitors in mineral fertilizers and as stabilizers for liqu id manure or liquid fertilizer formulations, and the treated mineral fertilizers themselves, as well as new pyrazole derivatives that can be used as nitrification inhibitor s in mineral fertilizers and as stabilizers in liquid manure or liquid fertilizer formulations.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a polyester dispersion containing water and a biodegradable copolyester encompassing structural units from (derived from) a carboxylic acid, intended for use a sheathing material for granulated fertilizer. The invention also relates to the sheathed granulated fertilizer obtained from the polyester dispersion and the fertilizing method whereby said sheathed granulated fertilizer is applied.
