Abstract: Appts. processes printing plates, esp. polymer resin types exposed to actinic light. The plates are transported through development, washing and drying chambers etc. on rollers driven by various motors. The second half processing stage are carried out at a higher roller speed than the first half. The appts. is enclosed so that operators have cleaner working conditions and a circulator chemical arrangement minimises waste. The plate input is directly onto the first rollers drive by the first motor. The plate is put into the processes through a light trap. Various following roller assemblies and their driving motors carry the plate-at higher speed in the second part - horizontally through the processing stages.
