    Abstract: Device for exposing photopolymer printing plates consisting of: an under frame (1) with incorporated UV fluorescent tubes (7b), an obliquely mounted supporting plate (4) made of glass for supporting the printing plates, said supporting plate being provided with an orthogonal pattern (25, 26) of grooves - connected to vacuum pumps; a matt black sheet (9) arranged between the UV fluorescent tubes and the supporting plate; a lid (2) with incorporated UV fluorescent tubes (7a) which is pivotally connected to the underframe at a pivot (6) and which can be folded up on the one hand and laid flat on the underframe on the other hand; and a device (4) which moves back and forth on toothed racks (5) for fold- and bubble-free laying and simultaneous cleaning of a vacuum film (3), the printing plate being sealed from the supporting plate in a vacuum-tight manner by the vacuum film when the latter is laid on the printing plate.

    Abstract: Device for treating printing plates produced by using photochemical processes, in which the printing plates are fed to different treating stations, e.g. a washing station for the non-polymerised parts of the exposed printing plate, a cleaning station for the washed printing relief of the plate and, if necessary, a drying station, and in which the transport of the printing plates to the individual treating stations is effected by a driven pair of chains in which the chain links have driver spigots (pins), and a strip which is suspended between the two chains in the driver spigots has, for its part, devices for mounting the printing plate which is to be transported.
