Abstract:
A process is disclosed for increasing agricultural plant harvests. The plants are treated with an active substance that inhibits the mitochondrial breathing chain at the level of the b/c1 complex.
Abstract:
A method of inducing tolerance of plants against bacterioses which comprises treating the plants, the soil or seeds with an effective amount of a combination of a compound of the formula (I) in which the variables have the meaning as set forth in the description, and a second active compound as defined in the description; which is taken up by the plants or seeds.
Abstract:
A method of inducing virus tolerance of plants which comprises treating the plants, the soil or seeds with an effective amount of a combination of a compound of the formula (I) in which the variables have the meaning as set forth in the description, and a second active compound as defined in the description; which is taken up by the plants or seeds.
Abstract:
A method of inducing virus tolerance of plants which comprises treating the plants, the soil or seeds with an effective amount of a compound of the Formula (I) in which the variables are defined in the description, which is taken up by the plants or seeds, during the first six weeks of the growth period of the plants or germination of the seeds.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of an active compound that inhibits the mitochondrial breathing chain at the level of the b/c1 complex for improving the tolerance of plants to low temperatures.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of polylysine, polylysine derivatives, or a combination of polylysine and polylysine derivatives in biocide formulations containing copper. The invention also relates to methods for controlling micro-organisms using the above-mentioned formulations.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a test unit for the discovery and/or identification of stable formulations, containing the following components: at least one agent which is poorly soluble or insoluble in a dispersion medium, at least one formulation adjunct, a dispersion medium and optionally at least one solvent, whereby said test unit comprises a robot for accessing a matrix of positions on a substrate, with at least one robotic arm, characterised in that a mixing chamber is integrated in the robotic arm. The invention further relates to a method for the generation of an array containing n formulations, each in a known position of m positions on a substrate, whereby n and m are each a natural number greater than or equal to 2 and m is greater than or equal to n, an array containing n formulations and the use of said array for identification and/or discovery of stable formulations and the test unit for the production of said array.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of defined alkoxylates of the amphiphilic type as activity-improving adjuvants in the agrotechnical field. The invention also relates to corresponding agrotechnical agents. The addition of such alkoxylates enables the absorption of active ingredients by plants to be accelerated. The alkoxylates used are based on branched alcohols such as 2-propylheptanol, C13-oxoalcohols and C10-oxoalcohols.
