Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a solid blend composed of polyvinyl pyrrolidone and an ethoxylated fatty acid derivative and containing the ethoxylated fatty acid derivative effectively integrated in the polyvinyl pyrrolidone by the operation of an extruder. SOLUTION: The solid blend composed of polyvinyl pyrrolidone and an ethoxylated fatty acid derivative is produced by the processing of components in an extruder including the introduction of the polyvinyl pyrrolidone into the extruder in the form of an aqueous solution and the removal of the solvent during the extrusion procedure. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyvinyl alcohol-polyether-graft copolymer, by which the product is obtained in a form capable of being advantageously used by an injection molding method or a film extrusion method, and by which the graft copolymer containing the vinyl alcohol in a copolymerized form and having a surely adjustable hydrolysis degree can simply be produced without accompanying a complicated process, especially a steam distillation process and a spray drying process. SOLUTION: This method for producing the graft copolymer (P2) having repeating units originated from the vinyl alcohol and having polyether groups comprises reacting a graft copolymer (P1) having repeating units originated from a vinyl alcohol ester and having polyether groups with water and/or at least one 1 to 6C alkanol in the presence of a catalyst in an extruder. Namely, the method for preparing the graft copolymer having repeating units originated from the vinyl alcohol and having the polyether groups comprises reacting the corresponding graft copolymer based on the vinyl alcohol ester with the water and/or at least one 1 to 6C alkanol in the presence of a catalyst in an extruder. Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of polyvinyl lactame-polyalkylene oxide block copolymers as solubilisers for poorly water-soluble substances.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of copolymers which comprise a) 60 to 99 % by weight of N-vinylcaprolactam; b) 1 to 40 % by weight of at least one monomer b) selected from the group including: b1) C8-C30 alkyl esters of monoethylenically unsaturated C3-C8 carboxylic acids; b2) N-alkyl- or N,N-dialkyl-substituted amides of the acrylic acid or the methacrylic acid with C8 to C30 alkyl groups; b3) the vinyl esters of aliphatically unbranched C8-C30 carboxylic acids; b4) the C8-C30 alkyl-vinyl ethers, as solubilizers for substances that are difficult to dissolve in water.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of copolymers obtained by radically polymerising a mixture of i) 30-80 % by weight N-vinyllactam, ii) 10-50 % by weight vinylacetate, and iii) 10-50 % by weight polyether, wherein the sum of the components i), ii) and iii) is equal to 100 % by weight as solubilisers for poorly water-soluble substances.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an active or effective substance composition containing at least one active or effective substance that is difficult to dissolve in water and at least one hyperbranched polymer.
Abstract:
The use of copolymers obtained by free-radical polymerization of a mixture of i) 30 to 80% by weight of N-vinyllactam, ii) 10 to 50% by weight of vinyl acetate, and iii) 10 to 50% by weight of a polyether, with the proviso that the total of components i), ii) and iii) equals 100% by weight, as solubilizers for slightly water-soluble substances.
Abstract:
Preparation of graft polymers based on polyether and vinyl ester comprises reaction of polyether (5-25 wt.%) (a), vinyl ester (b) (40-95 wt.%) and further hydrophobic monomers (c) (0-50 wt.%) in the presence of an organic solvent and a radical-forming polymerization initiator under reflux conditions, where after starting the polymerization, the temperature is controlled in such a way that the external temperature of the reactor is at least 3[deg] C lower than the internal temperature of the reactor.
