Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the production of an ionic compound, comprising at least one cation with a quaternary sp -hybridised nitrogen atom, whereby a compound with a double-bonded nitrogen atom is reacted with a dialkyl sulphate, using both alkyl groups of the dialkyl sulphate and the ionic compound thus obtained with sulphate anions is optionally subjected to an ion-exchange.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing haloalkanes by reacting alcohol with halogen hydracide. The inventive method is characterized in that the reaction of the alcohol with the halogen hydracide is carried out in the presence of an ionic liquid at least temporally at a temperature of more than 100 DEG C and that the water content, at least at the time when the reaction starts, is not more than 25 mol % based on the amount of ionic liquid, said liquid not being octyltrimethyl ammonium chloride.
Abstract:
The inventive method for producing quaternary ammonium compounds consists in reacting compounds containing an sp 3 hybridised nitrogen atom with dialkyl sulphate or trialkyl phosphate and in exposing the thus obtained ammonium compound to an ion-exchange.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a continuous method for producing a hydrogen peroxide solution in a medium that comprises a water-miscible organic solvent, by reacting hydrogen and oxygen in the presence of an inert gas, the gas flow being circulated and the hydrogen and oxygen only being supplemented in the form of pure gases as they are consumed. The invention further relates to the use of the solution so produced in the epoxidation of olefins.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for separating acids from chemical reaction mixtures by means of an auxiliary base. Said auxiliary base b) forms a salt with the acid, which is liquid at temperatures at which the valuable product is not significantly decomposed during separation, and c) the salt of the auxiliary base and the valuable product or the solution of the valuable product form two immiscible fluid phases in a suitable solvent.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Process for degradation of poly-, oligo- or di-saccharides or their derivatives comprises dissolving the material in ionic liquid(s) and treated at elevated temperature, optionally with addition of water.
Abstract:
Process for preparing purified 1,3-substituted imidazolium salts of the formula (I) by reacting a 1,3-substituted imidazolium salt of the formula (II), with a strong base at from 20 to 250° C. while distilling off the 1,3-substituted imidazol-2-ylidene formed, in which the 1,3-substituted imidazol-2-ylidene which has been distilled off is brought into contact in the gaseous state with the protic acid HaA (III) and/or the 1,3-substituted imidazol-2-ylidene which has been distilled off is passed in the gaseous or condensed state into a receiver comprising the protic acid HaA (III).
Abstract:
The present invention describes a process for preparing ionic liquids (I) by reacting ionic liquids (II) whose anion is a halide with an acid (III), with the resulting hydrogen halide being scavenged by means of an amine and the resulting ammonium halide being able to be separated off.
