Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a part of a face which is in the shadow region of a reflux sprayed and inhibited in polymerization of the internal structure included in a separating column suitable for a thermal separation method from the shadow region by using a method as simple as possible without a high cost, and also without a spraying nozzle to be used.
SOLUTION: The problem is solved by the separating column which includes a continuity of a substance exchanging tray in which a covered double-T support and/or a covered U-shaped support are incorporated as a supporting element.

Abstract: In process for cleaning tray columns which are used for the purposes of rectifiying liquids comprising (meth)acrylic compounds, a basic liquid is conveyed downward through the tray column and a gas is passed through the column in countercurrent to the basic liquid at an average gas phase differential pressure over all trays of at least 0.5 mbar/tray.
