Abstract:
Process for water-wetting oil-wet surfaces by applying an aqueous formulation comprising at least one wettability modifier which is a water-soluble ester of an alkoxylated saccharide to the oil-wet surface. The oil-wet surfaces may be any hydrophobic surfaces such as the rocks of subterranean oil-bearing formations.
Abstract:
Process for treating subterranean oil-bearing formations comprising carbonate rockswith an aqueous composition comprising cationic ammonium salts comprising four hydrocarbon radicals wherein at least one of the hydrocarbon radicals is substituted by an OH-group. The process may be a process for enhanced oil recovery, fracturing, acidizing or antiscale treatment.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a process for enriching an iron mineral from a silicate containing iron ore by inverse flotation comprising the addition of a collector or collector composition comprising at least one of the compounds of formulae RC(0)N(Z-0-X-NH
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing oil, in particular Winsor Type III microemulsion flooding, wherein an aqueous surfactant formulation comprising at least one non-ionic surfactant having 11 to 40 ethoxy unit and having a hydrophobic radical of 8 to 32 carbon atoms, and comprising at least one further surfactant different therefrom, is pressed through injection wells into an oil deposit, and crude oil is extracted from the deposit via production wells.
Abstract:

Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing tertiary crude oil with the aid of a surfactant mixture and/or to the use of a surfactant mixture for producing tertiary crude oil by means of Winsor type III microemulsion flooding, in which a surfactant mixture is forced through at least one aqueous injection well into a mineral oil deposit and crude oil is removed from the deposit through at least one production well. The surfactant mixture comprises, for lowering the interfacial tension between oil and water to
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to the use of alkylalkoxysulfonates for the production of foams, which are stable at high temperatures, e.g. up to about 250 °C. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for producing of high temperature stable foams by using a foamable aqueous composition comprising at least one linear alkylalkoxysulfonate.
Abstract:
A process for mineral oil production, especially Winsor type III microemulsion flooding, in which an aqueous surfactant formulation is used which comprises at least one alkyl polyalkoxysulphate containing propoxy groups, and also at least one further, different surfactant, is forced through injection wells into a mineral oil deposit, and crude oil is removed from the deposit through production wells. The alkyl polyalkoxysulphate containing propoxy groups here is prepared by sulphating an alkoxylated alcohol, the alkoxylated alcohol being prepared by alkoxylating an alcohol using double metal cyanide catalysts or double hydroxide clays.
