    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for preparing a monodisperse anion exchanger, preferably a monodisperse, large-pores anion exchanger which has a high mechanical and permeation stability of particles, has an increased absorptive power for anions, requires a reduced amount of resources for preparing the anion-exchanger itself and has a highly pure function basic group and can be prepared in a high yield. SOLUTION: In a process for preparing a monodisperse anion exchanger, (a) monomer droplets prepared from at least one monovinyl aromatic compound and at least one polyvinyl aromatic compound are allowed to undergo a reaction to generate a crosslinked monodisperse bead polymer, (b) this monodisperse bead polymer is subjected to amidomethylation using a phthalimide derivative, (c) this amidomethylated bead polymer is allowed to undergo a reaction to generate an aminomethylated bead polymer, and (d) this aminomethylated bead polymer is alkylated.
