Eine adaptive Geschwindigkeitsregelungseinrichtung empfängt die Vorausfahrzeugnachricht und empfängt zumindest eine zusätzliche Nachricht, die einen jeweiligen Status des Fahrzeugs anzeigt, und die adaptive Geschwindigkeitsregelungseinrichtung legt einen Bremsdruck für ein adaptives Geschwindigkeitsregelungseinrichtungs-Bremsereignis auf oberhalb eines Normalbremsdrucks fest, falls die adaptive Geschwindigkeitsregelungseinrichtung auf der Grundlage der zumindest einen der zusätzlichen Nachrichten ermittelt, dass das Fahrzeug während des adaptiven Geschwindigkeitsregelungseinrichtungs-Bremsereignisses die Stabilität beibehalten wird.

The system may include a sensor adapted to deliver a signal indicative of an operational parameter, such as steering angle of the vehicle, and a processing unit adapted to receive the signal from the sensor and deliver a control signal based on the signal for stopping rotation of the mixing drum.

Abstract: The improved ABS performance in an air brake system for a vehicle is achieve d by rapidly exhausting air from a control volume (36) of the relay valve pist on (38'). The preferred embodiment incorporates a quick release valve (78) in t he control air circuit to allow a majority of the air in the control cavity to escape directly to ambient. The orifice (72') through the exhaust solenoid (70') need only handle a relatively small volume of air upstream of the quic k release valve, i.e., between the quick release diaphragm (76) and the inlet solenoid seat (80). Improved performance can be obtained through simple modification of the prior art structure.
