Abstract:
An image recording apparatus has a first recording-sheet storing section for storing a first recording sheet, a second recording-sheet storing section for storing a second recording sheet, a serial recording head for effecting image recording on the first recording sheet while travelling with respect to the first recording sheet, a line recording head for effecting image recording on the second recording sheet when the second recording sheet is in a stationary state, a first conveying device for conveying the first recording sheet to the position of the serial recording head; and the second conveying device for conveying the second recording sheet to the position of the line recording head. With this arrangement, it is possible to selectively effect serial recording and line recording and, in addition, to effect recording from an original document as well as recording and reproduction of the thus-read original document. Accordingly, a single recording apparatus can be used to achieve both serial recording and line recording.

Abstract:
An apparatus as shown in Fig 2 comprises a first store (207) for recording substrate (sheet) with a first paper path for transporting substrate from said first store past a reciprocating printhead thermal printer 200; and a second store (222) for a different recording substrate (roll) with a second paper path for transporting substrate from said second store past a stationary linear-array type thermal print head (113). A document-reading head (105) may be incorporated in the first paper path. It is stated the printhead (200) facilitates alphanumeric thermal transfer printing onto plain paper, and printhead (113) is adapted for graphical thermal printing onto sensitive paper. The apparatus may serve as a "FAX" terminal and copier.
Abstract:
A recording apparatus consists of a printer fitted in a housing (1). The recording is printed on a continuous strip of paper (P) which is fed to and removed from the recording station by a mechanism installed in a second housing (2).The printer housing (1) is mounted on a platform (3) whilst the paper feed housing (2) is hinged to the printer housing and can be swung open or closed

Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform serial recording, recording in row unit, and the reading of a sheet original by one reader/recorder by performing recording on a sheet arriving at a first recording position by a sequential system, inputting by reading the sheet photoelectrically and performing the recording in row unit on the sheet arriving at a second recording position. CONSTITUTION:The sheet is carried from a loading means loadable plural sheets to the first recording position via a carrying path, and the recording of sequential system is performed on the sheet arriving at the first recording position by a serial recording means. A read sensor part is provided in the carrying path, and information can be inputted by reading the sheet photoelectrically. Also, an operation is performed so that a sheet of recording paper wound in roll shape is carried to the second recording position, and the recording in row unit is performed on the sheet of recording paper arriving at the second recording position by a raw recording means. In such a way, it is possible to input an original photoelectrically by a single device, and also, to perform the sequential recording and the recording in raw unit selectively.
