Abstract: A telecommunications wall fixture includes a body configured for mounting to a wall, the body defining a mounting surface generally parallel to the wall when mounted. A cable storage spool is rotatably mounted to the body for storage and deployment of cable. A device is used for re-orienting the rotation axis of the spool from being generally perpendicular to the mounting surface to being generally non-perpendicular to the mounting surface, wherein the spool is configured such that the spool can be stored within the body when the spool is oriented to have the rotation axis generally perpendicular to the mounting surface.

Abstract: An equipment panel includes one or more trays disposed within a chassis. Each tray has a two-layer termination region. Certain trays have a two-layer splice region. The splice region can be used to optically couple preterminated fibers within the tray to a trunk cable. Alternatively or in addition, the splice region can be used to fix broken fiber connections. A cable anchor and fanout arrangement mounts to the chassis as a unit.

The mesh sleeves can be adapted to protect optical fibers that pass therethrough. In one example, a mesh sleeve can be secured to another structure by an anchor including a reinforcing insert that fits in the mesh sleeve and a clamping housing that mounts over the mesh sleeve.

Abstract: A bladed chassis system facilitates installation of the bladed chassis system and replacement of the blades at the chassis. Blades can be inserted and removed from the front and/or the rear of the bladed chassis system at the discretion of the user. Blades can be moved between discrete positions. In examples, blades can be one-handedly released from the chassis to allow movement between discrete positions. In examples, accidental movement past a discrete position is inhibited. Abstract: A panel system includes a chassis holding one or more tray arrangements, which are each configured to receive one or more cassettes at two or more bays. The tray arrangements and cassettes cooperate to define a cassette sensor arrangement and a port occupancy sensor arrangement having separate interface points. The cassette sensor arrangement may include electronic memory storing physical layer information about the cassette. All active components of the port occupancy sensor arrangement are disposed on the tray while the electronic memories of the cassette sensor arrangement are stored on the cassettes.
