A+B) lipophilic free-radical polymn. initiator and in that the compsn. contains (iii) in an ant. of 0.01-2 pts.wt. [based on (i)+(ii)].

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently carry out stabilization of a polyacetal subjected to oxidative decomposition and obtain a high-quality molding material, by mixing the polyacetal with a specific sterically hindering phenol ester of dialkylene glycol in an acting amount. SOLUTION: A polyacetal such as polyoxymethylene is mixed with preferably 0.05-2wt.% (based on polyacetal) sterically hindering phenol ester of dialkylene glycol represented by the formula to stabilize the polyacetal subjected to oxidative decomposition according to ordinary method.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a catalyst capable of advantageously performing the hydrogenation, dehydrogenation and hydrocracking of an organic and inorganic body by forming the catalyst only from a catalytic alloy and specifying total pore volume or the like in a molded metal-fixed bed catalyst containing a catalytic metal, an alloy component capable of eluting and if necessary, a co-catalyst. SOLUTION: In the metal-fixed bed catalyst, the catalyst is formed only from the catalytic alloy, attains 0.1-0.6 ml/g total pore volume and a part of an outside layer 0.1-2.0 mm thick from the surface is activated by the elusion of the alloy component capable being completely or partially eluted. And as the preferable catalyst component, nickel, cobalt, copper or iron and as the alloy component capable of eluting, aluminum, zinc or silicon is used. Abstract: A formed metal solid-bed catalyst, consisting entirely of catalyst alloy (and possibly promoters) with a total pore vol. of 0.1-0.6 ml/g and with a surface shell 0.1-2.0 mm thick which is activated by complete or partial leaching of an extractable alloy component (I). Also claimed is a process for the production of thE catalyst . Preferably the catalyst metal is nickel, cobalt, copper and/or iron, and component (I) is aluminium, zinc or silicon. The catalyst may also contain up to 15 wt% chromium, iron, cobalt, tantalum, molybdenum and/or titanium as promoters.
