Abstract:
Methods and arrangements (600) in a first network node (120-1) for managing handover of a user equipment (110) from the first network node (120-1), to a second network node (120-2). The method and arrangement (600) comprises transmitting (501) a handover message to the user equipment (110), which handover message is triggering the user equipment (110) to perform the handover, and to establishing (502) a limit related to the amount of retransmissions to be made. Further the method and arrangement (600) comprises interrupting (503) scheduling of resources to the user equipment (110) and inhibiting further retransmissions of the handover message, when either the established limit is reached, or an indication that the user equipment (110) has left the first cell (130-1) is received. Also, methods and arrangements (800) in a in a second network node (120-2) are disclosed.
Abstract:
Method and arrangement in a mobile terminal for predicting future data communication performance of transmissions between a base station and the mobile terminal. The base station and the mobile terminal are comprised in a wireless communication system. The method comprises receiving information from the base station, concerning the relation between distribution characteristics and the performance of established data communications via the base station, comparing the own distribution characteristics of the mobile terminal with the received information, determining the own predicted data communication performance based on the made comparison between the own distribution characteristics and the received information, and displaying the determined own predicted data communication performance on a display of the mobile terminal. Also, a method and arrangement in a base station for assisting a mobile terminal in predicting future data communication performance of transmissions is comprised.
Abstract:
A method in a user equipment for obtaining a Modulation and Coding Scheme, MCS is provided. The MCS is to be used for a transmission between the user equipment and any one or more out of the network node or a second network node. The user equipment has knowledge about a modulation and coding index table. The user equipment receives (201) one or more offset values from the network node. The user equipment obtains (205) an MCS indicator related to said transmission. The user equipment then obtains (206) the MCS from the modulation and coding index table based on the MCS indicator and the one or more offset values.
Abstract:
Embodiments herein relate to a method in a first communication node (201) for estimating pre-coding weights for transmission on a radio channel (205) between the first node (201) and a second communication node (203) in a communication network (200). The first node (201) comprises at least two transmit antennas. Each transmit antenna is configured to transmit on each of at least two sub-bands. The first node (201) obtains at least two pre-coding reports. Each pre-coding report is for a different time instance. Each pre-coding report comprises pre-coding weights or indications to pre-coding weights. The pre-coding weights are associated with each transmit antenna and with each sub-band. For each transmit antenna, the first node (201) estimates pre-coding weights for at least one of the sub-bands based on the pre-coding weights in the obtained pre-coding reports. The estimated pre-coding weights are different from a most resent of the obtained pre-coding reports.
Abstract:
The embodiments herein relates to a method in a first base station (201a) for controlling interference on a second Physical Downlink Control CHannel, PDCCH (210b). The second PDCCH (210b) is between a second base station (201b) and a second user equipment (205b). The first base station (201a) receives (602), from the second base station (201b), coordination information associated with the second PDCCH (210b). Based on the received coordination information, the first base station (201a) controls (306, 405, 503, 505, 507, 603) the interference on the second PDCCH (210b), wherein the interference is caused by a first PDCCH (210a) from the first base station (201a) to a first user equipment (205a).
Abstract:
A base station (140, 210) for use in a telecommunications system (200), which further comprises at least a second base station (140, 220) and a user equipment (230) is disclosed. The base station (140, 210) comprises a memory (520) for storing instructions and data, a radio-frequency interface (530) for communicating with said user equipment (230); and a controller (510). The controller (510) is configured to receive a measurement, determine, based on said measurement, if said user equipment (230) should be reconfigured, and, if so, send a reconfiguration message to said user equipment (230) instructing said user equipment (230) to reconfigure a transmitting power of said user equipment (230) with respect to said second base station (140, 220). The base station (140, 210) sends downlink data to said user equipment (230), and may be configured to receive uplink data (260) from said second base station (140, 220), said uplink data (260) originating from said user equipment (230).
