Provided are a novel imidazole compound which has a high stability of the compound itself; and a novel imidazole compound which is useful as a membrane-constituting lipid of liposomes. Disclosed are a compound represented by the following General Formula (1), and a liposome containing the same compound. In the formula, Z is an imidazolyl group which may be substituted, L 1 is an alkylene group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms which may be substituted, X is an oxygen atom or a nitrogen-containing substituent, n is an integer of 2 to 4, m is an integer of 1 to 20, L 2 is a divalent linking group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, Y is a nitrogen-containing group, R 1 and R 2 are a hydrogen group or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, R 3 is a hydrogen atom or a substituent, and R 4 and R 5 are an alkyl group having 1 to 40 carbon atoms.
Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing lipid particles which can hold nucleic acids or the like at a high inclusion rate, and a nucleic acid delivery carrier having the lipid particles. According to the present invention, there is provided a method for producing lipid particles including nucleic acids, the method including the following steps of (1) to (4): (1) a step of heating an oil phase containing a phospholipid, an alcohol, and an ester; (2) a step of mixing an oil phase prepared in step (1) with a water phase containing nucleic acids; (3) a step of cooling the mixed liquid which contains the oil phase and the water phase and has been obtained in step (2), and crystallizing lipid particles; and (4) a step of removing the alcohol and the ester from the mixed liquid which contains the oil phase and the water phase and has been obtained in step (3).

An object of the present invention is to provide lipid particles which have low cytotoxicity, can stably hold nucleic acid molecules outside cells, and can promptly release nucleic acids in cytoplasm after escaping from endosome, and a nucleic acid delivery carrier. According to the present invention, there are provided lipid particles containing a compound represented by the following General Formula (1), sterol, at least one lipid selected from the group consisting of a neutral lipid and a lipid having a polyethylene glycol chain, and nucleic acids, and a nucleic acid delivery carrier. In the formula, R 1 and R 2 are the same as or different from each other, and are alkyl groups having 10 to 22 carbon atoms.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition that easily produces an optical anisotropic film having improved heat resistance, which is useful for optical compensation of a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: The composition for producing a biaxial optical anisotropic film having a deformed twisted helical structure contains a polymerizable liquid crystal compound and a polymerization initiator containing an oxime ester compound. A method for producing an optical anisotropic film includes applying the liquid crystal composition on a support, subjecting the liquid crystal composition to cholesteric alignment, and irradiating the liquid crystal composition with polarized light, but not includes irradiating the composition with non-polarized light before irradiating the composition with polarized light.
