    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover and dry filter aid after filtration in a filter aid type filtration system.
    SOLUTION: The filter aid is dispersed in raw material dope and filtered through a first or second filter. The filter aid is accumulated on a filter medium support body in a filter, and the raw material dope is filtered using the filter medium comprising the filter medium support body and an accumulated layer. When the filtering pressure is increased, a plurality of the filters are switched over, and cleaning liquid is run into the used filter for cleaning. Slurry 90 obtained by cleaning is sent to a separator 87 and separated into residue 90a and solution 90b. Dry air 97 is sent to the separator 87 after separation to dry the residue 90a and to evaporate a solvent. When the solvent gas concentration in the dry air 97 reaches a certain value or less, the drying is stopped and the residue 90a is taken out of a strainer 95.
