A method for sending a targeted advertising campaign to a plurality of mobile phone devices, comprises the step of receiving geographic information relating to geographic location of mobile phone devices, wherein the information is collected from a plurality of corresponding mobile service providers. The method includes the step of maintaining a subscriber database that contains contact information relating to a plurality of subscribers. The system interacts with an advertiser so as to receive advertising content intended for targeted mobile phone devices. Furthermore, the system communicates the advertising content to the targeted mobile phone devices that are located within a specified distance from a location specified by the advertiser.

A system for providing search results having a portal for receiving search requests and a means for obtaining prior search results from telephonic directory assistance requests. A trend module analyzes the obtained prior search results from telephonic directory assistance requests; where results provided to a user in response to the search request received at the portal are affected by the prior search results from telephonic directory assistance requests.

An enhanced service platform has an interface (25) for receiving communications from a user requesting desired data. An automated response module (40) parses the communication and retrieves the desired data. The enhanced service platform arranges the desired data into a response message that is sent to the user, where the response message includes an embeded code corresponding to a link allowing the user to re-contact the enhanced platform. An operator assistence module (35) receives communications from the user initiated via the link to provide further assitance regarding user's request.

A platform for providing mobile services maintains a network module for communicating with at least one mobile network and an MVNO module for communication with at least two MVNO service providers. When a user contacts the platform and receives mobile services including MVNO services from at least two different MVNO service providers, the platform is configured to store a profile generated by the user for storing events where the occurrence of the event causes the platform to switch the user's MVNO service provider from a first MVNO service provider to a second MVNO service provider.
