Abstract: In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a cellular analytic system is described. The cellular analytic system includes an analytic device. The analytic device includes a chamber to receive a cell to be analyzed. At least one lysing element agitates the cell and at least one sensor detects a change in the cell based on an agitation of the cell. The cellular analytic system also includes a controller to determine a rupture threshold of the cell based on parameters of the agitation when a cell membrane ruptures.

Abstract: In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, am ejection system is described. The ejection system includes a fluid feed slot to supply fluid to a number of fluid ejection channels where each fluid ejection channel is a recirculating channel. Each fluid ejection channel includes a sensor to detect, in the fluid, a target particle to be ejected and a fluid ejector to eject the target particle from the fluid ejection channel. The ejection system also includes a controller to selectively activate the fluid ejector when the target particle presence is detected. Non-target particles are returned to the fluid feed slot past the fluid ejector.

Abstract: A method of detecting passage of a particle into a target location includes receiving a sample on a die including a microfluidic chamber, the microfluidic chamber including a microfluidic path coupling a reservoir to a foyer, and moving the sample from the reservoir to the foyer by firing a nozzle fluidically coupled to the foyer. The method further includes detecting passage of a particle of the sample from the reservoir to the foyer via a first sensor disposed within the microfluidic path, and detecting passage of the particle into the target location via a second sensor disposed between the first sensor and the nozzle. The method includes recording in a dispense map, an indication of whether the target location includes a single particle or multiple particles based on signals measured by the first sensor and the second sensor.

Abstract: In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a conductivity-based lysis monitor is described. The lysis monitoring device includes a lysing chamber to receive a cell to be lysed and at least one lysing device to rupture a cell membrane. At least one pair of electrodes are disposed in the lysing chamber to detect a level of conductivity in the lysing chamber. A controller of the device determines when the cell membrane has ruptured based on detected levels of conductivity in the lysing chamber.

Abstract: An electroporation system may include a well plate, a dispenser and a dispenser-well positioning system. The well plate may include wells, each of the wells including an interior, a first electrode adjacent the interior and a second electrode adjacent the interior and spaced from the first electrode. The first electrode and the second electrode are to apply an electrostatic field across the well. The dispenser is to dispense a cell having a diameter into each of the wells. The dispenser-well positioning system is to align each well and the dispenser such that the dispenser dispenses the cell into each well at a location spaced from the first electrode and the second electrode by a distance of at least 5 times the diameter of the cell.
