Abstract: PURPOSE: To support the dynamic division/merge of system resources. CONSTITUTION: A dynamic re-configuration request to obtain revision of physical configuration of a system is fed from a configuration controller to a hypervisor controlling the operating system during execution in one or a plurality of areas of the system. The hypervisor converts the physical request into a request to obtain a re-configuration of a known logic resource to the operating system and checks it by comparing a plan having been introduced and gives this request to the operating system in the area. The operating system executes the logic re-configuration and makes a request of physical re-configuration to the hypervisor. The hypervisor uses the configuration controller to start the physical re-configuration.
