Abstract: The device (10) has a pressure detecting device (12), which is mounted in a door of a motor vehicle and is designed to detect physical measuring variables (16) dependent on the barometric pressure and to provide a measuring signal dependent on the detected measuring variable. A measuring signal-processing device (14) is designed to process the measuring signal to provide two information signals (20, 22). One of the information signals is based on the modification of the detected pressure, and another information signal is based on the absolute value of the detected pressure. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a pressure sensor arrangement with multiple pressure sensor devices (2) a method for processing of physical measuring variables measured independent of the barometric pressure (3) a computer program with a program code for implementing the method for processing of physical measuring variables measured independent of the barometric pressure (4) a pressure processing system for processing measuring value for a safety system and a motor-control system of a motor vehicle.
