Abstract: Datenübertragungssystem, das folgende Merkmale aufweist: – eine Energiequelle (10) mit einem Ausgang (12) zur Energieabgabe, – eine Energiesenke (20; 23, 24, 25) mit einem Eingang (22), zur Energieaufnahme, – eine Übertragungsstrecke (30) zwischen dem Ausgang (12) der Energiequelle (10) und dem Eingang (22) der Energiesenke (20), – eine an die Energiesenke (20) gekoppelte Impedanzeinstelleinheit (40; 43, 44, 45), die nach Maßgabe eines ersten Datensignals (DS1) eine Eingangsimpedanz der Energiesenke (20) einstellt, – eine an die Energiequelle (10) gekoppelte Mess- und Auswerteeinheit (50; 51, 52), die die an den Ausgang (12) der Energiequelle (10) abgegebene Leistung erfasst, um abhängig von einem Momentanwert oder einem zeitlichen Verlauf dieser abgegebenen Leistung ein von dem ersten Datensignal (DS1) abhängiges erstes Empfangssignal (ES1) zur Verfügung zu stellen, wobei die Übertragungsstrecke (30) einen Transformator mit einer an die Energiequelle gekoppelten Primärspule (Lp) und einer an die Energiesenke (20) gekoppelten Sekundärspule (Ls) aufweist.
