Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved elevator system, widely using a belt, one side of which is shaped. SOLUTION: A roller device includes two rollers 10, 20 having rotating shafts 12 or 22 and substantially parallel to each other. The electronic control device is preferably arranged in the region of supporting rollers of the lift cabin.

Abstract: Disclosed is a lift system comprising a lift cage, a roller arrangement, a support and/or drive and/or guide element in the form of a belt (30). The roller arrangement comprises two rollers (10, 20) with axes (12 or 22) of rotation which are approximately parallel. The rollers have structured circumferential surfaces (13, 23) with parallel roller ribs and roller grooves and rotate in opposite sense when the lift cage is moved. The belt forms an under-looping for support of the lift cage. It runs directly from the first roller (10) to the second roller (20). The belt has a structured belt main surface (33) which is complementary to the structures of the rollers. In a region disposed between the two rollers the belt is twisted about the longitudinal axis (32) thereof so that the belt main surface comes into engagement with the circumferential surfaces of the two rollers when the belt runs over the rollers rotating in opposite sense.

On the basis of said marking, the desired position of the guide rail (38) can be determined in a following installation step. Said marking (69) is applied to the shaft wall (18) by means of the installation component (22). The mentioned steps are followed by the steps of orienting the guide rail (38) in relation to said marking (69) and fastening the guide rail (38) to the shaft wall (18). In particular, these two steps are performed manually by an installer.
