Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means to objectively evaluate the degree of entanglement of hair in a human head without depending on the skill of a specialist.
SOLUTION: The hair evaluation system 100 includes a relation storage section 30, a hair information receiving section 40, a parameter acquisition section 50 and an entanglement degree computing section 60. The relation storage section 30 stores the relation information IR between a plurality of kinds of hair parameters (hair volume parameter, a friction parameter and curvature parameter) obtained from the hair HS of a sample provider S and the degree of entanglement LS showing the strength of entanglement of the hair HS. The hair information receiving section 40 receives the hair information IH of the hair HE of a subject EX. The parameter acquisition section 50 obtains the hair parameter of the hair HE on the basis of the received hair information IH. The entanglement degree computing section 60 refers to the relation information IR and decides the degrees of entanglement LE corresponding to the plurality of kinds of hair parameters of the hair HE of the subject EX.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a medulla care agent for hair cosmetics excellent in the effect of improving optical or mechanical properties of the hair through direct or indirect action on hair medullas by including a compound having a specific functional group and a molecular weight as an active principle. SOLUTION: This medulla care agent for hair cosmetics includes a compound (pref. an α-hydroxy acid, a β-hydroxy acid, a 1,2-dicarboxylic acid, a 1,3- dicarboxylic acid, an aromatic carboxylic acid, an amino acid, a peptide, an N-acylamino acid, urea, an urea derivative, guanidine, a guanidine derivative, a primary amine an alcohol an aromatic alcohol or an alkyl ketone) having a functional group selected from a group consisting of amino, hydroxy, carbonyl and carboxy groups, and 30-500 molecular weight, as an active principle. The hair adsorption ability is pref. 0.1-40 wt.% when treating hair bundle under a condition of (1:10) bath ratio at 40 deg.C for 60 min.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic easy to use in which while being used by washing away, a component affecting to hair is efficiently acting and imparting excellent feeling and appearance, etc. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic being used by washing away contains (A) 40-98 wt.% of a polyhydric alcohol, (B) a component dissolved in the component A and affecting to the hair, (C) 0-20 wt.% of water and (D) 0.3-10 wt.% of hydroxypropylcellulose. The hair cosmetic is enable the hair affecting component to the hair at a high efficiency and also has excellent usability.
