A makeup instrument for an oral cavity is composed of a holding part bent at the top end and the above tooth polishing member 1, wherein the top end part has a hole for fitting the tooth polishing member, and the angle of bending at the top end part is 90 to 130 deg.C, and the holding part is extended while being inclined at 150 to 177 deg. in the middle.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a dentifrice which is enhanced in the ability to dissolve and remove bacterial plaque, excellent in refreshed feeling in mouth after brushing and in incorporation of fluorine into tooth surface. CONSTITUTION: This dentifrice contains 0.5-95wt.%, based on the total granules, of a water-insoluble alkali compound such as calcium carbonate/magnesium hydroxide and 1-50wt.% of granules which contains a water-insoluble inorganic binder (colloidal silica) and shows a pH of >=10 in aqueous slurry form. The granules are 75-500μm in sizes, preferable disintegrated on the load of 0.1-50 g/particle in strength and produced by the well-known spray-pelletizing process. When a fluorine compound such as sodium fluoride is formulated, a dentifrice excellent in tooth decay prevention can be obtained. In the water-insoluble alkali compound, the ratio of calcium carbonate/magnesium hydroxide is preferably 90/1-8/1.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a composition for oral cavity having an excellent effect of treatment or prophylaxis of periodontal diseases, and a good taste and feeling, by containing salt, sodium bicarbonate and an antiphlogistic agent. CONSTITUTION:This composition contains a slat particles with an average particle diameter of 150-450mum, a sodium bicarbonate particles with an average particle diameter of 45-450mum, and one or more kind of antiphlogistic agent selected from a group consisting of alantoin and its salts, epidihydrocholesterol, dihydrocholesterol, lysozyme hydrochloride, an ascorbic acid derivative and their salts, azlene, matricaria, lingstium, and enidium as effective components. Their contents are 10wt.% or more of salt, with a combining ratio of salt and sodium bicarbonate of 1/0.5-1/3 in wt. ratio, and 0.001-0.2wt.% of the antiphlogistic agent. This composition can be used as a tooth paste by combining a water soluble polishing agent and as an ointment suitably for gingiva by combining an oil component or a water soluble high polymer. This composition is capable of keeping an effective concentration of the antiphlogistic agent at a high level, without causing an unpleasant salty taste of the salt and without combining a high concentration of the antiphlogistic agent.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a component for the oral cavity, containing common salt, sodium bicarbonate and a germicide, excellent in treating and preventing effects on periodontosis and good in taste and touch. CONSTITUTION:This composition for the oral cavity contains granular common salt having 150-450mum average diameter, granular sodium bicarbonate having 100-300mum average diameter and one or two or more germicides selected from the group consisting of salts of chlorhexidine, quaternary ammonium salts, triclosan, hinokitiol, isopropylmethylphenol and an alkyldiaminoethylglycine hydrochloride as active ingredients. The contents of the ingredients are >=10wt.% common salt and 0.001-0.1wt.% germicides at (1/0.5) to (1/3) weight ratio of the common salt to the sodium bicarbonate. Furthermore, a water-insoluble polishing agent can be blended for use as a dentifrice and an oily ingredient or a water-soluble polymer can be blended for use as a gingival coating agent. Thereby, the composition has no unpleasant salty taste of the common salt and an effective concentration of the germicides in the oral cavity can be maintained high without blending the germicides at a high concentration.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high massage effect for the gum, especially its edge part and a dental papilla by planting a part of the longitudinal edge part of a bristle planted bed surface with rubber-like straight bar brush obliquely outward. SOLUTION: Rubber-like straight bar brushes 20 with rounded tips are planted in the opposite longitudinal edges 10b of a bristle planted bed surface 10a of a bristle planted bed 10 connected to the forward end of a grip 11 with a gradient of about 10 outward from the longitudinal edge part 10b. The tip of the rubber-like straight bar brush 20 is arranged substantially on the same horizontal plane as the tip of a bristle bundle 30 planted in erect state in the bristle planted bed surface 10a. As the rubber-like straight bar brush 20 is a straight bar-like body not to be bent to the tip, the force is easily applied to the gun in any direction so as to obtain a high massage effect, and as it is inclined outward, it will not be an obstacle to the sordes removing action of the bristle bundle 30 planted in the bristle planted bed surface 10a. When the rubber-like straight bar brush 20 projects over the bristle bundle 30, such effect for the edge of the gun and the dental papilla is further made excellent.
