Abstract:

Abstract:
A production method of a cationized cellulose or a cationized hydroxyalkylcellulose, including step 1 for adding a cationizing agent to cellulose and mechanically decrystallizing the cellulose and step 2 for adding a basic compound to the mixture obtained in step 1 and mechanically decrystallizing the cellulose, or a production method of a cationized cellulose or a cationized hydroxyalkylcellulose, including a step 3 for adding a basic compound to cellulose and mechanically decrystallizing the cellulose and step 4 for adding a cationizing agent to the mixture obtained in step 3 and mechanically decrystallizing the cellulose. The cellulose and the cationizing agent are allowed to react with each other in step 2 or step 4.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for producing a cationic hydroxypropyl cellulose including the step of reacting a low-crystalline powdery cellulose with a cationizing agent represented by the following general formula (1) and/or a cationizing agent represented by the following general formula (2), and propylene oxide in the presence of water in an amount of from 10 to 60% by mass on the basis of the low-crystalline powdery cellulose, and a catalyst: wherein R 1 to R 3 are each independently a linear or branched hydrocarbon group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and X and Z are each a halogen atom and may be the same or different from each other.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a cationized hydroxypropyl cellulose, wherein cationic groups and hydroxy propyl groups of sufficient amounts for developing performance are introduced, with high producibility. SOLUTION: In the method of producing the cationized hydroxypropyl cellulose, low crystalline powder cellulose is reacted with a cationization agent represented by general formula (1) and/or (2) and propylene oxide in the presence of 10-60 mass% of water and a catalyst. (In the general formula, R 1 -R 3 each independently represents a C1-4 straight/branched chain hydrocarbon group, and X and Z represent the same or different halogen atoms). Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective and high productive production method for a polysaccharide derivative. SOLUTION: The method for producing a saccharide derivative comprises the reaction of saccharide with a compound selected from haloalkane (or alkene), epoxyalkane (or alkene), alkyl (or alkenyl) glycidyl-ether, halogenated (or epoxidated) alkanesulfonic acid, halogenated (or epoxidated) fatty acid, halogenated (or epoxidated) alkylamine and halogenated (or epoxidated) phosphate ester to obtain the derivative whose a part or all of H in OH of saccharide is substituted by one or more sorts selected from alkyl group (or alkenyl group), alkyl (or alkenyl) glyceryl ether group, sulphoalkyl group, carboxyalkyl group, aminoalkyl group, phosphate alkyl group or the like wherein OH may be substituted. The method uses a microwave as a heating means.
