    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and economically prevent deterioration of UV printing, etc., caused by a large amount of ultraviolet rays by adding an aromatic compound containing no phenolic hydroxyl group to an acrylic tacky agent. SOLUTION: This method for preventing ultraviolet deterioration of a tacky agent comprises adding (B) an aromatic compound containing no phenolic hydroxyl group, preferably an aromatic carboxylic acid ester (e.g. trimellitic acid trioctyl ester, etc.), to (A) an acrylic tacky agent preferably using a polymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer containing >=50 wt.% of a 9-14C alkyl group-containing acrylic acid or methacrylic acid alkyl ester-based monomer. The amount of the component B is preferably 0.1 wt.% based on the component A.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a metallic container-sealing film superior in high-frequency sealing properties and extrusion laminating properties even in the storage of a content containing a volatile ingredient in a metallic container, free from occurrence of deterioration, such as delamination, even under a long-term storage, and capable of keeping a content with a good quality without evaporation. CONSTITUTION: A metallic container-sealing film for sealing a mouth part of a metallic container is made of a film-form laminate comprising an aluminum foil layer, a high-frequency welding layer forming a sealing surface, and a low-softening polyester layer provided between the aluminum foil layer and the high-frequency welding layer. The high-frequency welding layer is made of a resin composition composed of 5-50 pts.wt. modified polyolefin resin as a dispersion phase and 95-50 pts.wt. polyester resin as a matrix containing a crystalline polyester resin having a melting point of 120 deg.C or lower, a crystalline melt heating value of 5-30mJ/mg, and a melt flow rate of 30 or less, The low-softening polyester layer has a softening temperature of 200 deg.C or lower.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the cleaning property of the title toner by constituting the toner of a spherical toner particle having specified mean volume particle size and atomic ratio of a fluorine atom. to a carbon atom. in the surface layer of a toner particle, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The toner is constituted of the spherical toner particle which has the mean volume particle size of 2-20mum and contains the fluorine atom. in the surface layer of the toner particle in the atomic ratio of the fluorine atom. to the carbon atom. of a range of 0.01-1.000. The toner particle is produced by a suspension polymerization method. In this case, when the atomic ratio of the fluorine atom. to the carbon atom. is =1.0, adversely, the effect of the fluorine atom. to the electrostatic charging property of the toner particle becomes large, thereby taking place an undesirable phenomenon in image quality such as a white spot and an image unsharp, etc. Thus, in case that the toner particle is produced by the suspension polymerization, the faulty cleaning property of the toner particle caused by sticking force is improved, and the toner having the good flowability and the less change of the image quality which are the characteristic of the toner particle obtd. by the suspension polymerization is obtd.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermally active label which has excellent low-temp. adhesive strength and does not cause blocking by forming an adhesive for forming an adhesive layer of a specific resin. SOLUTION: The adhesive used for the adhesive layer of the thermally active type label having a base material and the adhesive layer formed on the rear surface side of this base material is formed of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer polymerized by using a catalyst contg. a metallocene compd. The thermally active label refers to the label which is preferably formed by printing the front surface (rear surface) of the base material with various kinds of information, exhibits tacky adhesiveness and adhesiveness (is thermally activated) by heating the label to a temp. higher than room temp. and does not exhibit the tacky adhesiveness and adhesiveness before the thermal activation, i.e., at a room temp. and may be preserved and handled even if a release paper, etc., are not used. The specific resin to be used as the adhesive is the ethylene-α-olefin copolymer (MPE) polymerized by using a catalytic system using the metallocene compd.
