Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of efficiently removing orthophosphoric acid from a mixture containing a phosphoric acid ester and orthophosphoric acid produced when producing the phosphoric acid ester by using phosphoric acids such as phosphorus pentoxide (phosphoric anhydride), condensed phosphoric acid (polyphosphoric acid) and orthophosphoric acid and capable of producing, in a high purity, a phosphoric acid monoester in which separation and refining by recrystallization method, etc., was conventionally difficult.

The aliphatic amine ethoxylate composition has 85-100 pts.wt. content of the 2 mol EO adduct to the aliphatic primary amine, ≤2 wt.% primary amine content, ≤6 wt.% content of 1 mol EO adduct and ≤4 wt.% ≥3 mol EO adduct, and has ≤10 mgKOH/g secondary amine value.
