SOLUTION: An oiliness agent comprising glyceride alkoxylates represented by the formula (wherein X , X , and X are each H or an 8-22C acyl; A is a 2-4C alkylene; and (m), (n), and (p) are each 0-10) and contg. at least 50wt.% glyceride alkoxylates, wherein X , X2 , and X are all acyl, is compounded into a detergent. Pref. the acyl groups are of a vegetable origin. An esp. pref. vegetable oil is soybean oil. The oil is compounded usually in an amt. of 0.01-30wt.%. A surfactant incorporated into the detergent may be a single surfactant, though a mixture of an anionic, amphoteric, and nonionic surfactants is pref.
