    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for providing online billing in an IMS network. SOLUTION: An IMS gateway system receives a first message from CSCF for a call cession through a first interface, and processes the first message to determine whether or not to communicate with OCS for online billing related to the call session. If the determination is to communicate with the OCS, then the IMS gateway system creates a second message included with a billing request to be transmitted to the OCS. The IMS gateway system links a field for the first message in a first protocol to fields for the second message in a second protocol to be used by the OCS, and then transmits the second message to the OCS through a second interface.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that allows a subscriber to screen telephone calls from opposite parties selected by the subscriber so as to be troubled by other phone call. SOLUTION: This invention provides, in a Public Switched Telephone Network(PSTN), the method at least including the steps of connecting a subscriber's telephone line to an Internet Service Provider ISP, while the subscriber's telephone line is connected to the ISP, disabling an Internet Call Waiting(ICW) server, and when a telephone call is placed to the subscriber's telephone line, ascertaining whether a calling party has input a subscriber- defined access code. The method also at least includes the steps of connecting the calling party to the ICW server and enabling it, if the calling party has input the access code, not connecting the calling party to the ICW server if the calling party has not input the access code, and via the enabled ICW server, displaying caller identification information to the subscriber when a call has been connected to the ICW server to allow the subscriber to cause the call to be connected, or ignore the call.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare and use a service depending pseudo calling line identifier(CLI) for excluding a double charging error. SOLUTION: Double charging to telephone transactions where the collision of charging occurs between an intelligent network(IN) and the other element of a system is avoided by preparing the service depending pseudo calling line identifier(CLI) by a service control point(SCP). When a pseudo CLI retrieving table stored in an SCP database shows (on the basis of a destination number(DN) or a service key(SK)) that a pseudo CLI has to be prepared, the SCP forms a pseudo CLI or forms a new CLI number string by connecting a pre-fix listed in the table to a calling party number(CgPN). When the call is connected to the number (DN), this prepared pseudo CLI is transferred to the number (DN) instead of the original CLI. The pseudo CLI is programmed so that IN deals with the charging of a specific transaction.

    Abstract: Communication networks and methods are disclosed for sharing charging information between a home IMS network and a visited IMS network. If a signaling message for a session is received in the visited IMS network, the visited IMS network assigns a visited charging identifier (e.g., ICID), and shares the visited charging identifier with the home IMS network through signaling messages. Similarly, the home IMS network assigns a home charging identifier, and shares the home charging identifier with the visited IMS network through signaling messages. When CDRs are generated in the home IMS network and the visited IMS network, the networks include the home charging identifier and the visited charging identifier in the CDRs so that billing systems may more easily correlate the CDRs from the different IMS networks.
