Abstract: After adhesive resin (46) is applied to a surface of a flat panel (42), a front panel (43) is glued thereto. One side of the front panel (43) is contacted to the adhesive resin layer (46) with the front panel (43) tilted toward the surface of the flat panel (42). Then, the front panel (43) is moved slowly to be close and parallel to the flat panel (42). Finally, the front panel (43) is pressed to the surface of the flat panel (42). Afterward, the adhesive resin (46) is hardened. It is preferable that the thickness of the adhesive resin (46) applied to the surface of the flat panel (42) is decreasing from the side to which the side of the front panel (43) is contacted, to the opposite side. By the above-mentioned method, an image display apparatus having multilayer structure comprising of a flat panel (42) for displaying image, an adhesive resin layer (46) and a front panel (43) can be manufactured efficiently.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form efficiently a multilayter structure, comprising a plane panel, bonding resin layer and a front panel of an image display surface of an display device. and prevent generation of quality inferiority of deterioration, discolorment, separation, or the like of bonding resin and a stain thereby. SOLUTION: After a bonding resin 46 is applied to a plane panel surface 42, and front panel 43 is foxed. Here, in a condition that the front panel 43 is tilted relating to the plane panel surface 42, after one side of the front panel is brought into contact with the bonding resin layer 46, and the front panel 43 is gradually brought down until becomes parallel to the plane panel surface 42, thereafter, the front panel 43 is pressed toward the plane panel surface 42. Thereafter, the bonding resin 46 is cured. Preferably, the bonding resin is applied so that a layer thickness of the bonding resin layer 46 in a side bringing one side of the front panel into contact is thicker than a layer thickness in a opposite side.
