Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize the whole of a cooling chamber by a method wherein the draining port of a drain pan is lowered by increasing the discharging property of draining water, in a cooling unit, in which the cooling chamber and a machine room are arranged adjacently. SOLUTION: The discharging property of drain water can be increased by a method wherein a drain water draining port 33 is positioned between a cooling fan 24 and a cooling heat exchanger 23 while one end of drain hose, connected to the drain pan 28 of a cooling chamber 27, is positioned between the heat radiating heat exchanger 30 of the second drain pan 34 of a machine room 32 and a heat radiating fan 31.

SOLUTION: A cooling unit has a cooling chamber 27 having a cooler 29, a blower 30 for the cooler, a cold air suction port 31 and a cold air outlet 32, and a machine room having a compressor, a radiator and a blower for the radiator and covered with a machine room cover. Through holes 36, 37 are provided corresponding to the port 31 and outlet 32 of the unit at an upper surface of a storage chamber 21, and an air suction hole and an air outlet of the cover are provided at upper and side and front and back surfaces. The cooling unit is disposed front of the door side of the chamber, and the machine room is disposed rear. Thus, a containing space of the refrigerator can be increased, and an installing space of the refrigerator can be reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent water from scattering into a room by a method wherein a mesh fin is attached at the leeward end of a corrugated fin so that condensate water gathering on the corrugated fin is absorbed by the mesh fin. CONSTITUTION:Refrigerant evaporates in a flat pipe 21 to cool air passing through a corrugated fin 22, and moisture condenses on the corrugated fin 22. The condensate water is washed away backward from the corrugated fin 22 by air flow and absorbed by a mesh fin 23 attached at the leeward end of the corrugated fin 22. Then, the condensate water flows along the mesh fin 23 and is discharged outside without scattering into a room. Therefore, the draft resistance can be reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a heat exchanger having stable heat exchanger performance by preventing clogging due to frosting of the surface of the exchanger. CONSTITUTION:The heat exchanger comprises many fins 12 aligned in parallel at a predetermined intervals to feed air flow A thereamong, and a heat medium tube 13 inserted into the fins 12. Cutouts 14 are formed at all the fins 12 in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the flow A, thereby uniformly frosting the cutouts 14.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a heat exchanger which is equipped with a flow divider which divides the flow of refrigerant in a two phase state (vapor and liquid) among a plurality of refrigerant circuit and capable of heat exchanging with high efficiency by dividing the refrigerant among the refrigerant circuits equally in terms of a refrigeration cycle of refrigerator or air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:This heat exchanger comprises a cylinder shaped flow divider 12, a cylinder-shaped flow combiner 13, heat exchanger tubes 14 to the flow divider 12 and the low combiner 13 and a large number of fins 15 installed to the heat exchanger tubes. A turbulent flow promoter 18 is installed inside the flow divider 14. Therefore, this heat exchanger comprises the flow divider and the flow combiner which are cylinder-shaped and sealed on both ends, a plurality of heat exchanger tubes welded to the flow divider and the flow combiner virtually at right angles and the fins installed in great numbers. The turbulent flow promoter is installed inside the flow divider as well. The liquid refrigerant can flow out to the flow divider welded to the heat exchanger tubes substantially equally, thereby carrying out a heat exchange performance with a high efficiency.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce the high-performance heat exchanger with which the joining of fins and heat transfer tubes is stable by cladding brazing materials on the fins having many loopers and inserting the heat transfer tubes into the flat grooves of the fins, then brazing the fins and the heat transfer tubes at the time of producing the heat exchanger by brazing the fins to the heat transfer tubes. CONSTITUTION:The many loopers 6 for improving the thermal conductivity of the heat exchanger are provided on the upstream side flat plate fins 2 and downstream side flat plate fins 3 of the air flow A passing the inside of the heat exchanger and the grooves 7, 8 coinciding with the outside shape of the heat transfer tubes 4 to be passed with the fluid to execute a heat exchange are notched and constituted at the time of assembling the heat exchanger 1 to execute the heat exchange between the fluid flowing in the heat transfer tubes 4 and the air flow A flowing between the fins 2 and 3 brazed to the heat transfer tubes 4. The brazing materials are clad on both or one surface of such fin materials 2, 3 and the heat transfer tubes 4 are inserted into the grooves 7, 8 and are heated to braze the fins 2, 3 and the heat transfer tubes 4. The heat exchanger having the excellent heat exchange efficiency is easily produced by the extremely easy brazing operation.
