    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to reduce the load of a compressor without haling the operation of a fan by changing over from a small capacity running capacitor to a large capacity running capacitor only for a predetermined time when a temperature sensor of a condenser detects that the detected value exceeds an upper setting value. SOLUTION: When power is switched on, a compressor 4, a fan 7 and PSC fan motor 26 start operation with a small capacity running capacitor 28 and it is determined whether or not both detected temperature of the room temperature sensor 14 and the detected temperature of the freezer compartment sensor exceed the predetermined values. In the case when they exceed the upper limit temperature, it is necessary to change over to a large capacity running capacitor 29 since an input load to the compressor 4 is increased. It is also necessary to change over to a small capacity running condenser 28 after a predetermined time elapses.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent damage of vegetable by draining from a drain hole provided at the bottom of a vegetable vessel to a water reception tray even if the inner surface of the vessel is condensed due to moisture evaporated from the vegetable so that condensed water flows to the bottom of the vessel, introducing circulating cold air from the convection hole of the tray, and draining the water accumulated in the tray by a convection. CONSTITUTION:The refrigerator comprises an outer box 2, an inner box 3, a heat insulator 14 filled between both the boxes 2 and 3, a cold storage chamber 6, a vegetable chamber 7 provided at the lower part of the chamber 6, a vegetable vessel 15 provided in the chamber 7, opened at its upper surface and having a drain hole 15a at its bottom, a partition plate 8 disposed above the vessel 15 to partition to the chamber 6, and a water reception tray 16 installed oppositely to the hole 15a in the lower part of the vessel 15 and having a plurality of holes at its side.

SOLUTION: A refrigerating room 25, at the top, a freezing room 27, and a vegetable room 31, at the center, are arranged, and also a cooling air duct is constituted by coupling a ventilating duct 46, which leads to the suction duct 44 of a freezing room 25 provided at the topside of the cover 39 covering a vegetable container 33 and the suction duct 45 of a low-temperature room 30, a circulating duct 48, which is made around the vegetable container 33, a feedback duct 51, which leads to the cooler 35 from the back face of the vegetable room, and a communication duct which makes the ventilating duct 46 and the feedback duct 51 communicate with each other, with one another. Hereby, the vegetable high in use frequency can be managed and preserved in the center excellent in handiness, and the storage property is improved. Moreover, the cooling capacity of the vegetable room 31 can be secured rationally while improving the temperature distribution of the vegetable container 33.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To raise reliability of a compressor by feeding back a refrigerant to a compressor as a complete gas refrigerant even starting after defrosting by providing accumulators between an evaporator and the compressor and in the compressor. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerator includes a compressor 1 for compressing a refrigerant, a condenser 2 for cooling a refrigerant for condensation thereof, a capillary tube 3 for reducing the pressure of a liquid refrigerant, and an evaporator 4 for vaporizing a liquid refrigerant. A suction accumulator 5 is located between the evaporator 4 and the compressor 1, and a compressor accumulator 8 is located in the compressor l. Upon defrosting a liquid refrigerant is vaporized by the evaporator 4 and pressure is raised in a suction line 7 so that the liquefied refrigerant is rendered to liquid separation in the suction accumulator 5. Further, upon the compressor 1 being started the liquid refrigerant thrusted into the compressor 1 is phase-changed to a gas refrigerant owing to abrupt expansion of the liquid refrigerant in the compressor accumulator 8 and is fed back to the compressor 1.

In this manner, the connection duct 25 of the changeover room with the damper device 27 of the changeover room is provided on the back surface of the vegetable room 17, thus dispensing with the provision of the connection duct 25 of the changeover room on the back surface of the changeover room 21, increasing volume inside the changeover room 21, and improving the usability and its accommodation property of the changeover room 21.

Thus, rapid discharge-pressure rise of the compressor 18 is restrained to reduce the load on the compressor 18, and its reliability can be enhanced (to prolong the service life of the compressor 18 is attained).
