Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a muffling effect in a muffling space of a suction muffler. SOLUTION: The suction muffler forming a muffling space is provided with two chambers; a communication space communicating these two chambers; a first communication passage for communicating a movable valve and a muffling space and extending and opened into the muffling space; a second communication passage for communicating the inside of a closed container and the muffling space and extending and opened into the muffling space; and openings in the muffler space of the first communication passage and the second communication passage. Since it is opened to any one of two chambers and the other of the two chambers forms a resonance type muffler coincident with a columnar resonance frequency in the closed container, a pulse of pressure of a coolant gas generated when the coolant gas is suctioned to a compression chamber is damped by the resonance muffler. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a quantity of oil taken out to the outside of a sealed container so as to hardly allow an oil quantity inside of a tightly sealed container to be decreased by providing a bypass whose one end is opened to the inside of a projecting cover while the other end is opened closer to the motor side than a main side housing. SOLUTION: During operation of a rotary compressor used for a refrigerator or the like, high temperature delivery gas compressed inside of a compression chamber 8 is discharged into a delivery cover 22 from delivery valve 14, and discharged to a motor M side in a tightly sealed container 1 partitioned by a main side housing 6 after being passed trough a bypass 24. The delivery gas is released in a space on a cylinder 5 side inside of the tightly sealed container 1 via a gap in the main side housing 6 and led to the outside of the tightly sealed container 1. In this case, the gas is blasted to a mesh-like winding and also by reducing gas flow speed, mist-like oil contained in the gas is made into particulates to be separated by dripping so that the quantity of oil brought to the outside of the tightly sealed container 1 may be reduced.

SOLUTION: The vane spring stopper 13 is provided with two approximately cylindrical vane portions 13b as guides for fitting the insertion hole 6a formed in the cylinder. The two vane portions are integrally formed with the bottom of the vane spring stopper at their widths enough to supporting the maximum load of the vane spring, and a width L between the ends of the two vane portions is larger than an inner diameter D of the insertion hole 6a.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hardly generate a fluctuating noise in a discharge muffler by fixing a compression part and a sealed case to each other on an outer periphery of a main bearing, and discharging delivery gas to a main bearing side which is not dipped in a refrigerator oil. SOLUTION: A delivery part 11 is arranged on a main bearing 9, gas compressed in a cylinder 2 is delivered in a discharging muffler 12 through the delivery part 11. The delivery muffler 12 is partitioned into a first delivery chamber 20 and a second delivery chamber 21 by a baffle 19. A pass hole is opened on the buffle 19, gas released through the delivery part 11 is throttled again, pulsation component of gas is reduced, and gas is released to the second chamber. A small hole is arranged on the discharging muffler 12, and discharging gas is released into a sealed case after delivery gas is throttled. A shaft hollow part 23 is arranged on a shaft 3, the inner circumference 17 of the delivery muffler 12 is pressed in a boss part 18 of the main bearing. An inner diameter near a press-in part of the boss part 18 is contracted by distortion of press-in, and a press-in position is set at a position of the hollow part 23 of the shaft 3.

This constitution makes an oil film on a tip part of the vane 24 easily form and hold, lubricity is improved, and abrasion resistance of a contact part of the roller 23 and the vane 24 is improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce bubble producing due to refrigerant jetting into the oil from a gap between a side housing and a discharge cover, improve the oil supplying performance, and enhance the reliability by securing the discharge cover to the side housing using a bolt while a reinforcing plate is interposed, and thereby correcting distortion of the discharge cover. CONSTITUTION:A compressor has a sealed vessel in which an oil, a compressing element, and a drive motor are accommodated, wherein the compressing element has a discharge cover 15 which is secured to an aux. side housing 7 by a bolt 18 with a reinforcing plate 20 interposed. Accordingly the distortion of the discharge cover 15 is secured to the aux. side housing 7 through the plate 20 and corrected, so that the gap between the side housing 7 and cover 15 is decreased to lessen spout of the refrigerant from the gap, and bubble production in the oil can be prevented. This suppresses decrease of the amount of oil supply to the shaft of the compressor to lead to enhancement of the reliability.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten a distance between a main weight and an unbalance component caused by centrifugal force of an eccentric portion and a roller so as to reduce the main and auxiliary weights in weight by providing the main weight positioned on the machine portion side on a machine portion side of a rotor in a space formed by the machine portion and the rotor. CONSTITUTION:When a crankshaft 3 is driven by a rotor 2b, a roller 6 fitted to an eccentric portion 4 is rotated along an inner wall of a compressing chamber 7a of a cylinder 7. A vane 9 divides the compressing chamber 7a into a high pressure side and a low pressure side, for compression. An unbalance component occurs in the axial direction of the eccentric portion 4 with respect to the axis of a spindle portion 5 by centrifugal force caused by the rotation of the eccentric portion 4 and the roller 6. A main weight 12 and an auxiliary weight 15 both fixed to the rotor 2b provide the balance, where the main weight 12 is positioned on a machine portion side in a space defined by the machine portion 13 and the rotor 2b by using a lock pin 15. Therefore, the main weight 12 approaches the unbalance component, and the main and auxiliary weights 12, 15 are reduced in weight.

An oil sucking hole 143 and an oil reservoir 150 are provided on an electric element side surface 146, thereby controlling the flow of the oil dripping from the cylinder block to the suction muffler 140 and stably supplying a suitable amount of the oil into a compressing chamber.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a vane spring by providing a ring groove where the vane spring is engaged in the end part on which the vane spring of a vane abuts, and forming the ring groove in such a manner that the outer peripheral circle of the bottom thereof has the same diameter as the outside diameter of the vane spring, and the inner peripheral circle has the same diameter as the inside diameter of the vane spring. SOLUTION: A compression element of this rotary compressor is formed by a cylinder 6, a main side housing 7, a sub-side housing 8, a roller piston 9 and a vane spring 10, and a vane 11 is pressure contacted to the roller piston 9. In this case, a projecting part 12a is formed on the back of the vane 12, thereby forming a ring groove part 12c around the projecting part 12a. Thus, the sharpness of the edge part 12b of the projecting part 12a is restrained, when the coil diameter of the vane spring 10 is a little smaller, the inside diameter side of the vane spring 10 is engaged at the inside of the ring groove 12c, and when the coil diameter of the vane spring 10 is a little larger, the outside diameter side of the vane spring 10 is engaged at the outside of the ring groove 12c.
