    Abstract: PURPOSE:To lower the overall height of a refrigerant compressor by arranging an insulating material which is given drawing between coils of an electric element and a metal part of a compression element. CONSTITUTION:An insulating material 10 which is given drawing is arranged between an electric element 2 elastically supported in a closed container 1 and a compression element 3 and coils 5 and 6 of the electric element 2 and a metal part 9 of the compression element 3. This insulating material 10 is a polyester film which is given drawing. As this polyester film 10 is given drawing, it has elasticity and the insulating material is not dislocated or removed during operation of a refrigerant compressor. In the compressor so constituted, the dimension of a clearance between the coil 5 of the electric element 2 and the metal part 9 of the compression element 3 should be only the thickness of the polyester 10. By this, the overall height of the compressor can be lowered than before.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable reliable securing of an oil pipe and to prevent deformation of an auxiliary side housing by a method wherein a plurality of prepared holes are formed in the delivery cover, on the reverse side to a cylinder, of the auxiliary side housing by a burring process, and the support part of the oil pipe is fastened thereagainst by means of a screw and bolt. CONSTITUTION:By fastening an auxiliary side housing 19 against a main side housing 6 by means of a head bolt 23 in a state to overlap a partition plate 18 to a delivery cover 20, the round hole of A chamber part 20a is adhered to the outer size staged part of a bearing 19a of the auxiliary side housing 19. By fastening a support 21 of an oil pipe 15 against a chamber part 20a by means of a bolt 22, the auxiliary side housing 19 side of the support 21 is adhered to the end surface, on the opposite side to a cylinder 5, of the bearing part 19a. Thus, refrigerant gas discharged from a compression chamber 8 is delivered through the delivery cover 20 without leaking through the delivery chamber part 20a. Oil 4 from the interior of the oil pipe 15 is fed to a crank shaft 9 through the lead of a coil spring 14 without leaking past the bearing part 19a.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a compressor by preventing the abrasion of a vane and a roller by the slide contact between the vane and the roller which are strengthened by each composite hardened film consisting of a ceramic coating layer and a nitrification processing layer set under the ceramic layer. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 2, roller 6, and a cylinder 4 are provided, and a vane 7 which is accommodated in the groove of the cylinder 4 and whose top end part makes slide contact with the outer periphery of the roller 6 is provided. The vane 7 consists of iron group basic members, and in the nitrification processing where a compound layer containing Fe-N(-C) as main constituent is not generated, only a diffusion layer 7a in which Fe4N exists in the basic member is generated. Then, at least the slide contact surface of the roller is applied with the ceramic coating 7b. Accordingly, the coagulation abrasion between the vane 7 and the roller 6 can be avoided for a compressor having the severe load, by the vane 7 which is strengthened by the composite hardened film having the ceramic coating layer 7b formed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease a temperature rise in an electric component cover by using a material of heat insulation for a fixture of the electric component cover, and providing the electric component cover for covering electric component parts to heat-insulate a closed type electric motor compressor. CONSTITUTION:In an electric component protecting device for a closed type electric motor compressor 1, a steel plate of sandwich structure with plastic in the inside having heat insulation is used for a fixture 4. Or the fixture 4 is brought into contact with the closed type electric motor compressor 1 only by a minimum required limit so that a total unit is covered with an electric component cover 3. Accordingly, by using a material having heat insulation for the fixture 4 for fixing the electric component cover 3 connected to the closed type electric motor compressor 1, heat conduction from the closed type electric motor compressor 1 can be prevented. In this way, also a temperature rise in the electric component cover 3 is decreased to reduce a temperature rise of a shielded wire in the electric component cover 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To stabilize the noise and oscillation of a compressor by providing a straight part at the one turn of the end edge of a cylindrical spring which is inserted in a discharge pipe, and forming inner diameter facing the straight part smaller than the outer diameter of the discharge pipe for giving a dislocation preventing function to the cylindrical spring. CONSTITUTION:A discharge side muffler 6 which is disposed at a compressor element 2 elastically-supported inside a closed container 1 is connected with a discharge side connecting pipe 8 which is silver-soldered to the container 1 by the discharge pipe 7 where a cylindrical spring 9 is inserted. Besides, the inner diameter which faces the straight part 10 of one turn of the end edge of the cylindrical spring 9 is formed smaller than the outer diameter 12 of the discharge pipe 7. Therefore, even if a load is applied to the cylindrical spring 9 which is inserted in the discharge pipe 7 at the time of transportation or starting/stopping a compressor, the cylindrical spring 9 is prevented from being dislocated, so it is possible to ensure the stable oscillation transmission damping function of the cylindrical spring 9.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To smoothly perform a heat exchange between the inside/outside of an electric component cover so as to decrease a temperature rise in the electric component cover by providing holes in the electric component cover, and further pasting cloths, constituted of holes smaller than a size of water molecule, to an internal surface of the electric component cover. CONSTITUTION:Electric component parts 2 externally mounted on a closed type electric motor-driven compressor 1, electric component cover 3 for covering the electrical component parts 2 and cloths 6 pasted to an internal surface of this electric component cover 3 are provided. One or more holes 5 are provided in the electric component cover 3, and the cloths 6 are constituted of holes smaller than size of a water molecule. In this way, a heat exchange of air between the inside/outside of the electric component cover 3 is smoothely performed by the holes 5, provided in the electric component cover 3, to decrease a temperature rise in the electric component cover 3 and also a temperature rise of a shielded wire in the electric component cover 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance damping effect for oscillation and sound suppression as well at the tubing section by fixing a cylindrical spring which is inserted into the tubing within a compressor main body so as to be incorporated, by a projected section formed in the tubing. CONSTITUTION:Refrigerant gas which is discharged out of a cylinder 1 by means of the reciprocal movement of a piston 6, flows in the inside of a tubing provided within a hermetic container 7 through a discharge valve chamber 2 and a discharge side muffler 3, so that it then flows into the high pressure side of a refrigerant cycle with a discharge side connecting pipe 8 connected. In a compressor constituted as mentioned herein above, when a cylindrical spring 5 is closely attached to the tubing 4 with a projected section (draw-string) 9 provided for a part of the tubing, maximum damping effect for oscillation and maximum sound suppression can be exhibited at the tubing section because the constitution does not allow the cylindrical spring 5 to be dislocated at all.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain good electrical insulating properties by forming one side of the end of the coil of the stator of an induction motor at a high stage and the other side at a low stage, and disposing the low stage on the side of the induction motor in contact with refrigerating machine oil, which induction motor drives a compression element. CONSTITUTION:The coil of the stator 2 of an induction motor 4 comprises a low-stage coil end 42a to which a small amount of molding of a coil end is allocated and a high-stage coil end 42b to which a large amount of molding of the coil end is allocated. The low-stage coil end 42a is disposed on the side of refrigerating machine oil 25 containing a refrigerant. The length by which the coil of the induction motor 4 is immersed in the refrigerant-contained refrigerating machine oil 25 is thereby reduced. The amount of electricity that leaks from the coil of a charged portion to a sealed container is thus reduced.
