Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively restrain flow change of compressed refrigerant gas by introducing discharge gas from a compression element stored in a closed container fixed with a discharge pipe to the discharge pipe by a discharge line, and by providing a restricted part on the discharge pipe. CONSTITUTION:A compression mechanism 1 stored in a closed container 2 compresses refrigerant gas by reciprocal motion of a piston 6 in a cylinder 5 by a crank shaft 8 rotated by an electric motor 3 and discharges it through a discharge muffler, a discharge line 13 and a discharge pipe 14 fastened on the closed container 2 outside. In this case, inside diameter set smaller than the inside diameter of the discharge line 13 is set by providing a restricted part 14a on a part outside of the closed container 2 in the circumferential direction of the discharge pipe 14. Consequently, change of flow (pulsation) of compressed gas can be damped without preventing enlargement of the size of a compressor and its startability.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively reduce the noise of a compressor while preventing heat accumulation by forming a soundproof space between a sealed container and an outer container provided in such a manner as surrounding the outside of the sealed container, and filling the soundproof space with a heat transfer fluid. CONSTITUTION:Two circular elastic members 4 of roughly the same bore as the outside diameter of the center portion of the shell of a sealed container 1 are fitted with each other while being separated from each other by a predetermined distance, at the shell portion of the center of the sealed container 1 wherein a compressor which is driven and rotated via a crank shaft 4 by a motor element consisting of a stator 2 and a rotor 3 is installed, and an outer container 15 having an inner surface separated from the sealed container 1 by approximately the wall thickness thereof is provided in such a manner as covering the whole sealed container 1. A soundproof space 16 is thereby defined between the sealed container 1 and the outer container 15 over the whole peripheries of the containers and the soundproof space 16 is filled with a heat transfer fluid (e.g. a fluid sealer, oil). The outer container 15 comprises a center tubular portion 15a and lid-shaped portions 15b, 15c on both sides.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the level of the noise generated by a compressor element of the inside effectively when the noise is transmitted through a clearance space between a sealed container and an outer container by comprising an elastic member forming a soundproof clearance between the sealed container and the outer container. CONSTITUTION:The gas led into a compression space 9 through a suction pipe 12 extended from a sealed container 1 to the outside is boosted by the rotation of a roller 8 in contact with a vane 10 and the internal surface of a cylinder 7. The boosted compressed gas is supplied to the outside (refrigerator) through a discharge pipe 13 extended from the sealed container 1 to the outside. In this case, the whole of the periphery of the sealed container 1 covering a compressor element as a noise source is covered with an outer container 15 through an annular elastic member 14 pinched between the periphery of the sealed container 1 and the outer container 15, while a clearance space 16 is provided between the sealed container 1 and the outside container 15. When the sound (oscillation) is transmitted through the clearance space 16, the level thereof is reduced and relaxed quickly.
