PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide safe application distribution and execution in a wireless environment. SOLUTION: The present invention provides safe and secure application distribution and execution by providing systems and methods that test an application to ensure that it satisfies predetermined criteria associated with the environment in which it will execute. Furthermore, by using rules and permission lists, application removal, and a modification detection technique, such as digital signatures, the present invention provides mechanisms to safely distribute and execute tested, or untested, applications by determining whether the application has been modified, determining if it has permission to execute in a given wireless device environment, and removing the application. Un procedimiento para procesar un mensaje de destino para mostrar en un dispositivo inalámbrico que se comunica con un servidor de descarga de aplicaciones, que comprende: recibir una solicitud del dispositivo inalámbrico en el servidor de descarga de aplicaciones; iniciar el procesamiento de la solicitud en el servidor de descarga de aplicaciones; enviar una señal desde el servidor de descarga de aplicaciones a un segundo servidor que indica que un mensaje de destino puede enviarse a un dispositivo inalámbrico; y enviar el mensaje de destino a una plataforma informática del dispositivo inalámbrico mediante el segundo servidor durante el tiempo de transmisión inactivo entre el servidor de descarga de aplicaciones y el dispositivo inalámbrico, que comprende además: definir un grupo objetivo de una pluralidad de dispositivos inalámbricos; determinar que el dispositivo inalámbrico que envió la solicitud se encuentra en el grupo objetivo, en el que, enviar el mensaje dirigido al dispositivo inalámbrico durante la transmisión inactiva incluye enviar un mensaje dirigido definido al grupo objetivo.
