A secondary coil winding 4b3 wound in-phase for the primary coil winding 4a1 of the transformer 4 is provided and rectification output is obtained without any feedback control for the secondary coil winding 4b3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the high voltage generating circuit in which a high voltage applied to an anode of a cathode ray tube is raises slowly even when only one system of a DC/DC converter is in use. CONSTITUTION:An output voltage V2 higher than an output voltage V3 of a DC/DC converter 3 is applied to a series regulator 4 and a power supply voltage V5 is applied to a horizontal pulse generating circuit 12 only at the rising of power. The horizontal pulse generated from the horizontal pulse generating circuit 12 is fed to a horizontal deflection output circuit 13 and a resonance pulse generated in a flyback transformer 14 is boosted to generate a high voltage. Since the voltage V5 is applied to the horizontal pulse generating circuit 12 from the series regulator 4 only at the rising of power, the high voltage rises slowly.
