Abstract: AN APPARATUS FOR MEASURING CUMULATIVE TIME OF OPERATION TIME OF AN ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT IS COMPRISED OF A CPU HAVING A NONVOLATIVE MEMORY AND A RAM. THIS APPARATUS EXECUTES THE FOLLOWING STEPS: (1) READING CUMULATIVE TIME DATA TS OF THE NONVOLATIVE MEMORY AND PRESETTING IT TO A TIMER COUNTER OF THE RAM WHEN A MEASUREMENT COMMAND IS TURNED ON WHEREIN TS IS A VALUE REPRESENTED BY TS = (A MINUTES X N + A/2 MINUTES) WHEN N IS A POSITIVE INTEGER; (2) MEASURING ON TIME ON THE TIMER COUNTER IN WHICH TS IS PRESET; (3) CHECKING AS TO WHETHER THE ON TIME BECOMES INTEGER TIME A MINUTES; (4) WHEN THE ON TIME BECOMES INTEGER TIMES A MINUTES, THE SUM OF THE ON TIME AND A/2 MINUTES IS READ IN THE NONVOLATILE MEMORY AS TS. THEREFORE, THE ACCUMULATED ERROR OF THE CUMULATIVE TIME IS DECREASED.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device with a simple structure capable of obtaining a good detection result without correction processing even if the input device rotates around its axial center or the axial center is inclined.
SOLUTION: A shaft body 3a is rotatably provided in an inner ring 4 rotatably engaged with an outer ring 2 of a bearing fixed to a clamping body 1, a shaft 3b perpendicularly intersecting with the shaft body 3a is provided and a case 7 provided with acceleration sensors 5, 6, a spindle 8 and compasses 9a, 9b is rotatably provided in the shaft 3b. Thereby, the inner ring 4, the shaft body 3a and the shaft 3b turn so that the center of gravity of the case 7 is located at the lowest position even if a grip condition of the input device changes, and a condition always turning to the same direction to the earth magnetism is stable. Thus, attitudes of acceleration sensors 5, 6 can be always constant in a vertical plane and a horizontal plane.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make enjoyable viewing a video continuously by turning on a power source key immediately even when a power source is inadvertently turned off, by controlling to stop the lighting of a light source when the delay time has elapsed after designating the turning-off of the power source. SOLUTION: By depressing the power source key of a remote controller, a reception part receives a fact that the power source key has been depressed and a control part recognizes that the power source is turned off (S1). Thus, the control part transmits a signal to an audio control device so as to mute a sound from a speaker and transmits the signal to a picture display IC so as to mute a picture (S2). Then, the control part stops the supply of a lamp lighting signal LS to the power source PS after waiting for the specified delay time, for example, five seconds (S3). Thus, the lamp is turned off (S4). When a user turns off the power source because he goes to bed or he goes out, picture muting and sound muting are performed and then the light emission of the lamp is stopped after the delay time has elapsed.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a volume adjusting device whereby volume is automatically adjusted in accordance with the change-over of plural voice inputs or plural voice outputs. CONSTITUTION: Volume data corresponding to the respective MXN-number combinations with the N-number (plural) voice inputs and the M-number (plural) voice outputs is previously stored in a memory 1. A control part 10 constitutes a circuit so as to automatically adjust the volume level of the voice input or the voice output based on volume data from the memory 1 at the time of changing-over the voice input or the voice output. By passing a voice signal through a time constant circuit 3 at the time of the change-over, the quick change of the volume level is mitigated. Volume adjustment is not required whenever the voice input or the voice output is changed-over and the quick change of volume at the time of the change-over is corrected so as to cause no fear of unplesantness.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent operating sound of a cooling fan from being conspicuous as a noise especially when no sound is reproduced by using a control means for controlling the output of the cooling fan to cool the inside of a sound reproducing device to multilevel-control the output of the cooling fan. SOLUTION: A lamp 15 to illuminate an LCD 13 is provided in an outer casing of a sound reproducing device and lighted by an output of a lamp power supply from a lamp cover supply 14. A cooling fan 21 is provided to prevent a temperature rise in the outer package due to heat generated by the lamp 15. This cooling fan 21 is driven at a speed in response to a voltage of a fan power supply output outputted from a fan power supply 20 to cool the inside of the device. The fan power supply 20 is controlled according to a fan control signal outputted from a control section 22. The fan power supply 20 outputs a fan power output of 0 V when the fan control signal is '00', 4.5 V when '01' and 9 V when '10'.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cumulative error of the integrated time. SOLUTION: When a measurement command is turned on, the integrated time data Ts are read out of a nonvolatile memory 4 and preset at a timer counter CNT of a RAM 3 (100). The data Ts are equal to the value that is shown as Ts=(10min.×n+5min.) when (n) is defined to a positive integer. Then the ON time Ton is measured by the counter CNT where the data Ts are preset (101), and it is always checked whether the time Ton is equal to an integer multiple of 10min. (102). The time Ton becomes equal to an integer multiple of 10min. when 5min. elapsed after the measurement command is turned on. Under such conditions, (Ton+5min.) is written in the memory 4 as the data Ts. Thereafter, (Ton+5min.) is defined as the data Ts every time the time Ton is increased by only 10min.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantly and surely find out whether a light source is abnormal or a power source is abnormal by allowing a control section to receive a power source abnormal signal from the power source, when the power source is abnormal, to receive a light source abnormal signal from the light source when the light source does not light, and to instruct them to an abnormality display part to display. SOLUTION: A lamp power source 53 detects if a high voltage output is outputted when an output of high voltage should be given and transmits a lamp power source output abnormality detection signal ES to a control section 50 when the high voltage output is not outputted. A lamp 35 knows whether is lighting or not by detecting if a current flows through the lamp 35 and transmits a lamp non-lit detection signal EL, when the lamp is not lit. An abnormality display part 16 informs a user of abnormality information which is causing a lamp non-lighting or processing information on those through the control of the control section 50 when the lamp does not light.
