    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely remove carbon slurry sticking to a pin (protrusion unit) provided in an inner side of a panel glass in a manufacture process of a carbon stripe in manufacture of a cathode ray tube. SOLUTION: In a washing jig 1 used for washing a position aligning pin (protrusion unit) provided in an inner side wall of a panel glass constituting a cathode ray tube, the jig comprises a brush 10 constituting a continued shape that a tip end a into contact with the protrusion unit from its upward is substantially equal to an external surface shape of this protrusion unit. This washing jig 1 is rotated with a direction into contact with the protrusion unit of the tip end a of the brush 10 serving as the axis. In this way, the tip end a of the brush 10 is surely brought into contact with a surface part of the protrusion unit, and a stain in a surface of the protrusion unit is surely removed.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle a panel of a color cathode-ray tube without causing etching mark errors and using hydrofluoric acid. SOLUTION: This recycling method recycles a panel 1 of a color cathode-ray tube by removing a carbon layer 2 and a phosphor layer 3, which are formed on the inner surface of the panel 1, using an embrittling agent that embrittles the carbon layer 2 and the phosphor layer 3 themselves without eroding the panel 1. The carbon layer 2 and the phosphor layer 3 are first given affinity to the embrittling agent by use of an affinity imparting agent. The carbon layer 2 and the phosphor layer 3 are then embrittled using the embrittling agent, and thereafter the inner surface of the panel 1 is washed with water.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a uniform inter-layer film with ease and obtain a color phosphor screen without uneven luminance by forming phosphor layers of plural colors then washing the phosphor layers in warm water and forming an inter- layer film thereafter. CONSTITUTION:Carbon stripes 11 with a specified pattern are formed on the inner surface of a panel 1, followed by application thereto of green phosphor slurry. And, the carbon strips 11 are subjected to exposure and development process after being dried to form a green phosphor stripes 2G in the spaces between the specified carbon stripes 11. Then, in the same manner, blue phosphor stripes 2B and red phosphor stripes 2R are formed in succession. After drying the respective phosphor stripes 2G, 2B and 2R, warm water 12 is injected into the panel 1 to wash them in the warm water. After subsequent drying, primal liquid 3 is applied to form an inter-layer film 4, followed by the formation of a metal-backed layer 13. In this way, an uniform inter-layer film 4 can be formed easily. Accordingly, subsequent formation of the metal-backed layer 13 can be done uniformly across all sections, enabling to obtain a color phosphor screen without uneven luminance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form resist layers having respective similar widths without regulat ing the amount of exposure, by heating an azide group sensitive film and irradi ating the whole surface with light of low illumination in order to perform a main exposure thereafter. CONSTITUTION:Prior to three main exposures, an azide group sensitive film 2 is heated at a temperature of 50 deg.C or more and the whole surface of the sensitive film 2 is irradiated with light 13 of low illumination so that O2 and remaining H2O and the like contained in the sensitive film 2 are made to react with nitrene produced and are eliminated. Therefore, on the next main exposure, the nitrene produced is not consumed by O2 and H2O and the like. Bridging degrees of the sensitive film 2 are all the same on the three main exposures and the amount of the exposures is not required to be minutely regulated in the order of the exposures, so that widths Wg, Wb, and Wr of the resist layers 3G, 3B, and 3R, respectively, which are shaped in stripes corresponding to respec tive colors at the same amount of the exposures, can be made identical. There fore, respective color phosphor stripes 7G, 7B, 7R become uniform in widths so that an excellent color fluorescent screen can be formed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance measuring accuracy, by a method wherein a panel is provided so as to be made relatively movable to directions horizontal and vertical with respect to an ultrasonic ray source part and a sensor and the chromaticity of the same area of a fluorescent surface is measured. CONSTITUTION:A panel stage 4 moving to a plane direction in such a state that a panel 3 is placed is provided on the base stand 2 of a chromaticity measuring apparatus 1 and an ultraviolet ray source part 5 is provided in the base stand 2 below the panel 3 and a sensor 8 receiving beam 6 of ultrasonic rays transmitting through a fluorescent surface 7 is provided above the panel so as to be positioned n the extending line of the beam 6. The panel stage 4 is constituted of a stand 29 moving left and right in a Y-axis direction in a state mounting the panel 3 and a stand 30 moving to an X-axis direction (direction vertical to a drawing) while mounting the stand 29. The stands 29, 30 moves to the X-axis and Y-axis directions to make it possible to measure the arbitrary area of the fluorescent surface 7 of the panel 3. The sensor 8, the panel stage 4 and the ultraviolet ray source art 5 respectively automatically move to X-, Y- and Z- directions with respect to, for example, 300 areas to be measured of the fluorescent surface 7 to measure chromaticity and the relative brightness of each color.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To correct failure in the chromaticity of a phosphor quickly and properly. CONSTITUTION: Phosphors of three primary colors are provided. and to at least one of them, principally a high brightness phosphor (for example, green or red) a phosphor of other color, principally low brightness phosphor (blue) is added as a chromaticity adjusting phosphor so as to adjust the chromaticity. Even if there is failure in the chromaticity in any phosphor, adjustment as turning the chromaticity shallower can be made quickly by adding a chromaticity adjusting phosphor, and failure in the chromaticity can be corrected. Thus a color cathode-ray tube is constructed free from failure in the chromaticity in quick responding to eventual occurrence of failure in the chromaticity of any of the phosphors.

CONSTITUTION: For example, a photosensitive film by PVA or the like is applied to a inside panel surface of a cathode-ray tube, and it is dried, and is exposed by ultraviolet rays, and is exposed, and after a resist layer is formed, carbon slurry is applied, dried, reversed and developed, and a carbon film is formed, and next, phosphor slurry of a first color (for example, a green color) is applied, and a phosphor paint film is formed. Next, after it is dried, ultraviolet rays are irradiated to a position where a phosphor layer of a first color is to be formed, and after it is exposed, developing processing to remove an unexposed part of a panel skirt part is performed by using developing water (for example, puree water) having pressure of 0.6MPa to 3.0MPa. Similarly, after a phosphor layer of a second color (for example, a blue color) is formed, a phosphor layer of a third color is formed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent floating and separation of a metal back layer in a baking process by previously drying a middle film material in a preset region at a temperature below the film forming temperature before the drying process. CONSTITUTION:Before a drying process in which a middle film material 4 is formed in a middle film, the middle film material 4 which is previously applied in a preset region, for example, an useless screen part such as a panel shirt 5 and so on, is dried at a temperature below the film forming temperature. Drying of the middle film material 4 is promoted, and cracks 7 are generated in the middle film material 4 which is in semi-dry state by this promotion. Then, when the middle film material 4 is formed into a middle film in the next drying process (and water treatment process), a kind of gas escaping parts are constructed by the cracks 7, and when the middle film is thermally decomposed and removed in the baking process carried out thereafter, since gas escapes to the outside through the gas escaping parts, floating and separation of a metal back layer 8 can not be generated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a generation of so-called a vertical stripe pattern of the carbon stripes, by forming the carbon stripes after forming an ultraviolet-ray absorption layer inside the panel. CONSTITUTION:After an ultraviolet-ray absorption layer 5 is formed, A PVA sensitive membrane 1 is formed and exposed to the ultraviolet-rays 3. The PVA sensitive membrane 1 is exposed and permeated ultraviolet-rays 3 are absorbed in the ultraviolet absorption layer 5. If all the ultraviolet rays 3 are not absorbed, and some rays permeate the layer 5, they are reflected by the glass of the panel 4 and absorbed again in the ultraviolet-ray absorption layer 5. Therefore, the reflected ultraviolet-rays 3 will rarely expose again the PVA sensitive membrane 1, as in the conventional one, and generation of a light absorption pattern such as moire vertical stripes are avoided when the carbon stripes are formed.
