    Abstract: PURPOSE:To process the carrier chrominance by a gain control circuit consisting of two differential amplifiers. CONSTITUTION:Carrier chrominance signal including burst signal is fed to an input terminal 2. The amplitude of charrier chrominance signal is controlled with the gain control circuit constituted with the 1st differential amplifier consisting of transistors 28 and 29 and the 2nd differential amplifier consisting of transistors 44, 46. Further, a phase control circuit is connected to the output side of the 2nd differential amplifier to switch the constant current source of the 2nd differential amplifier for the sections including carrier chrominance signal and burst signal, and the phase of burst signal only is shifted with the hue control signal.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To exercise phase control over an output signal by varying differentially levels of input signals supplied to bases of the 1st and 2nd transistors by a control signal. CONSTITUTION:An input signal current converted by transistor 13 is further converted into a signal current, which flows through transistors 11 and 12 by being shunted. The shunting ratio is controlled by variable DC voltage source 18. When DC voltages applied to bases of transistors 11 and 12 are equal, signal currents flowing through transistors 11 and 12 are equal in level and the levels of signal currents flowing through both the transistors can be varied differentially by varying differentially levels of DC voltages to both bases.

At this time, differential signal currents I3-is/2 and I3+is/2 are supplied to diodes 14 and 17. Then, output voltage VO becomes equal to{RL/2(R1+re/2}.(I4/I3).Vi (however, re is the emitter resistance of transistors 19 and 20), and gain control can be performed by making one of constant-current sources 13 and 14, at least, variable.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a signal converting circuit which has a low power consumption and a gain and can take out the differential input signal as the output signal of the single end, by a differential transistor circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the collector current of transistors 3 ad 4 is changed to I0+ DELTAi by input voltage 1, voltage drop generated in the series circuit of resistance 7 and diode 8 becomes the base voltage of transistor 9, and the emitter current is set to I0+DELTAi. Therefore, a base current to eliminate the difference between I0+DELTAi and I0-DELTAi is flowed to transistor 11. Consequently, collector current Ix of transistor 11 can be taken out as the single end output. Since bias current I0 is not fluctuated by output current Ix, the power onsumption quantity is small. The gain can be determined by adjusting the resistance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the structure greatly as well as to increase the accuracy for the telecine device by performing the field scanning via the linear beams. CONSTITUTION:The light given from spot 7 of flying spot tube 1 is converted to line 8 in the horizontal direction via semicylindrical lens 2, and the light on line 8 is irradiated onto film 3. Scanner 6 performs the horizontal scanning while line 8 has a scanning in 1/60 sec. from the upper end to the lower end of frame 4a of film 3. Thus, the TV video signal which is equivalent to 1 field and contains the informations according to the picture of frame 4a can be obtained through scanner 6. Then the 2-field video signal is obtained by scanning frame 4a twice at line 8, and then the 3-field video signal is obtained by scanning next frame 4b three times via line 8. After this, the scannings are performed alternaltely in the same way in order to secure synchronization between the frame of film 3 and the TV field.
