    Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily and economically produce a good original plate when a metal layer is formed by electroplating on a smooth substrate on which a patterned film is provided before the layer is separated from the substrate to produce an optical disk original plate by controlling the supply quantity and current quantity of plating solution to the lapse of time. CONSTITUTION:After a patterned film is provided on a substrate having a smooth surface, such as glass and the patterned surface is made conductive by vapor deposition sputtering, etc., and after plating solution is energized to make the pattern a conductor while it is fed from a separate storage tank, a thick metal layer is formed by electroplating with large current to produce an optical disk original plate by separating the layer from the substrate. In this case, the flow rate and current value of the plating solution with the lapse of time from the plating start point of time, t0, to a plating termination point of time, t2, are changed so that they may take the values represented by the curves 11, 12 respectively. Thereby the generation of defective plating due to the change of temp. and pH value is prevented with a small device to economically produce an optical disk original plate of excellent property.

CONSTITUTION:A glass plate 16 is attracted and gripped on a receiving base 13. While the receiving base 13 is rotated, pure water is discharged and the glass plate is washed by a washing brush 27. After the glass plate is subjected to finish washing with the pure water and solvent, clean air is blown thereto and the receiving base 13 is rotated at a high speed to shake and dry the glass plate.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To rapidly perform printing work and to prevent the generation of a pinhole by arranging the leading end part of an ink blade at the almost contact position with an intaglio at the time of the movement on the intaglio and inclining the same at a predetermined angle with respect to the moving direction of the ink blade. CONSTITUTION:When an ink blade 10 passes on a base stand 3 through an ink sump part 5 to move on an intaglio 8 in a direction A, the ink 7 in the ink sump part 5 is scraped up by the ink blade 10 to be supplied to the base stand 3 and the scraped-up ink 7 is moved on the base stand 3 and the intaglio 8 while pushed by the ink blade 10. The ink blade 10 is almost brought into contact with the intaglio at the leading end thereof and inclined at an angle of 90 deg. or less with respect to the moving direction thereof. Therefore, during a process wherein the ink blade 10 moves on the intaglio 8, the ink 7 flows in a recessed part 9 and the ink blade 10 presses the ink 7 in the recessed part 9 in the direction shown by an arrow C, the corners in the recessed part 9 on the front side of the moving direction A are filled with the ink 7 without forming an air layer (a).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To form fine undulations on the outside surface of a drum for tape guide, reduce the friction resistance between the same and tape and further obviate giving any flaws to the tape by fabricating the outside surface of the drum for tape guide through vibration machining. CONSTITUTION:To form the tape guide face 23 of a statinary guide drum 21 for tape guide, first the drum 21 is driven to revolve by a motor 25 mounted to a mounting plate 24. On the other hand, a tool 27 for machining is fitted to the bottom end of a hone 28 and the transducer 29 fitted to the upper part of the hone 28 is driven by the electric signal supplied from an oscillator 30. The mechanical vibrations obtainable as its output are magnified by the hone 28 and are transmitted to the tool 27. Hence, the tape guide face 23 of the stationary guide drum 21 is machined by the vibrating tool 27.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make spin coating and resin curing with high efficiency by supporting plural rotating units which are rotationally driven while supporting plural optical disks and conveying the disks between a spin coating unit and resin curing unit. CONSTITUTION:The optical disk 21 is rotated at a low speed and the resin is sprayed from a nozzle 46 in the stage of forming a protective film consisting of the transparent resin on the recording surface of the optical disk. The disk 21 is thereafter rotated at a high speed and the resin is radially diffused, by which the resin is uniformly spin-coated on the disk. Both the upper and lower rotating units 22 are then drawn out of the tank 45 and the disk is turned upside down by a rotating conveyor unit 25, by which the disk is conveyed to the lower part of the resin curing unit 27 where the recording surface 21a is faced upward. A UV curing lamp 49 is lighted up to uniformly cure the resin while the disk 21 is further rotated at a low speed. The resin curing operation is thus simultaneously executed while the spin coating operation is executed.

SOLUTION: The nickel layer of the work subjected to nickel plating in the electroforming section 11 is peeled from the work as a jig in the draft chamber section 12 and the plating liquid sticking to the nickel layer is washed in a washing section 31. The washing liquid is diluted by the pure water and is discharged. The steam, gas, etc., generated at this time are discharged as well by the draft section 32. As a result, the nickel plating, peeling and washing of the work are executed by one unit of the device. CONSTITUTION:The rotating glass master disk of the optical disk is rotated around its axis from its radial direction and is washed. An arbor 16 is freely attachably and detachably mountable to a mounting part for transmitting the rotation from a rotating section. CONSTITUTION:This chemical treatment apparatus is equipped with at least the first tank T1, the second tank T2, the first main pipe C1 for supplying a cleaning liquid, and the second main pipe C2 for discharge; the tanks T1 and T2 are connected respectively with the main pipes C1 and C2 through valves V1, V2, V3, and V4. When the apparatus is used for cleaning glass bases for optical disks, the third tank T3 is installed additionally in paralell with the second tank T2. In this case, preferably, the first tank T1 is used as a treating tank in which more than one kind of chemical solution is applied to the objects to be treated on after another and the second and third tanks T2, T3 are used as storage tanks for the chemical solutions and water as the cleaning liquid is fed from the first main pipe C1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To manufacture a disk in favorable yield by adhering the disks in order toward an outside circumferential direction under a state where air is not entered, by a method wherein first and second disks are laminated by facing in the outside circumferential direction under a state where the inside diameter parts of the first and second disks may be a point contact when the center holes of the first and second disks, which are bent to make the ridgeline in the radial direction, coincide with each other. CONSTITUTION:A first disk 3A is bent slightly into a saddle form centering around a line L1 by inserting a positioning pin 12 into a center hole 7A under a state where the surface of the first disk 3A, to which an adhesive agent 8 has been applied, turns upside. Then a second disk 3B is bent slightly into the saddle form centering around a line L2 under a state where a protective film 6B turns lower side. When the positioning pin 12 is inserted into a center hole 7B so that both the diameters meet at an angle of 90 deg. under the state where the second disk 3B is bent into the saddle form, the inside diameter parts come into contact with each other under a state where they perform point contact, and registration of the center holes 7A, 7B can be performed correctly. When degrees of bends of the first and second disks 3A, 3B are reduced gradually under the state, the disks can be stuck in order from an inside circumferential part to an outside circumferential direction under the state where air is not entered.
